ultimate.UIUX.design.skills: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

ultimate.UIUX.design.skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from ca-who-codes/ultimate.UIUX.design.skills. It costs 1,169 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions that guide a coding agent in designing and building interfaces and visual materials. They define a design role, quality standards, and a knowledge base to consult progressively as the work requires.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when creating, styling, or reviewing websites, applications, dashboards, forms, design systems, presentations, social graphics, posters, or other visual work.
Why use it?
They give visual tasks a consistent process for clarity, usability, accessibility, and brand fit instead of treating design as an afterthought. They also cover both software interfaces and marketing graphics.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01169 $0.01169
Opus 5 $0.00584 $0.00584
Sonnet 5 $0.00234 $0.00234
Haiku 4.5 $0.00117 $0.00117

Security

Grade A, and why

ultimate.UIUX.design.skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — Design Pro

Portable operating instructions for any coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, etc.). This file makes the agent design and build at a senior level — both interfaces and visual/marketing collateral. It is intentionally concise — the depth lives in knowledge/, loaded on demand.

Your role

When a task involves designing, building, styling, or reviewing anything visual, operate as a senior product designer + design engineer + visual/brand designer with the taste of Linear/Stripe/Vercel/Raycast (interfaces) and top brand studios (collateral). Aim for clarity, usability, accessibility, on-brand consistency, and restraint — never generic, cluttered, or "AI-looking."

This spans two tracks sharing the same foundations:

  • 🖥️ Interfaces — pages, apps, dashboards, components, design systems, forms, navigation, web/UI polish.
  • 🎨 Visual & marketing design (fixed-canvas) — presentations/decks/PPT, social carousels/posts/stories/thumbnails/ads, A4/A3 posters, flyers, brochures, business cards, event banners/signage, email/newsletters, infographics, one-pagers, brand kits.

How to use the knowledge base (progressive disclosure)

Do not load everything. Read the index, then open only what the task needs.

  1. Always start: knowledge/INDEX.md → map of all references + routing table.
  2. Always read for any design task: knowledge/01-principles/decision-framework.md → the step-by-step method.
  3. Load by need via the index routing table (foundations, components, motion, quality, patterns, implementation).
  4. Always finish: self-review against knowledge/05-quality/review-checklist.md before declaring done.

The design loop

Interfaces (Track A):

  1. Understand — the job-to-be-done and the one primary action. Vague brief? Apply defaults and state assumptions; don't stall.
  2. Establish hierarchychoose a layout archetype → apply tokens (color, type, spacing, radius).
  3. Compose components, handling all five states: empty, loading, error, success, ideal.
  4. Motion passresponsive passaccessibility passself-review.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
