claude-skills-integration-templates: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

claude-skills-integration-templates AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from calt13/claude-skills-integration-templates. It costs 1,789 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Markdown templates that help different command-line AI coding tools discover and use Claude Skills. They teach an agent to scan skill folders and read only the instructions it needs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to add skill discovery to an agent project, create copy-and-paste integration guidance, or apply the project’s local-only security-focused variant.
Why use it?
They let projects share reusable agent instructions across tools instead of relying on one specific coding assistant. This can keep the agent’s working context focused and reduce repeated setup.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Fable 5.1 $0.01789 $0.01789
Opus 5 $0.00894 $0.00894
Sonnet 5 $0.00358 $0.00358
Haiku 4.5 $0.00179 $0.00179

Security

Grade A, and why

claude-skills-integration-templates AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Claude Skills Integration Templates - Agent Guide

Project Overview

This project provides drop-in Markdown snippets that enable any Agent CLI to discover and use Claude Skills, even if you primarily use different CLIs than Claude Code. The templates teach agents how to scan skill directories and progressively load skills for efficient context management.

Key Insight: Skills aren't Claude-specific — you can point any model at a skills folder and say "read pdf/SKILL.md" and it will work.

Technology Stack & Architecture

This is a documentation/template project rather than traditional software:

  • Primary Format: Markdown templates and documentation
  • No Build System: Pure documentation with copy-paste deployment
  • Architecture Evolution:
    • v1 (Current): On-demand directory scanning during agent sessions
    • v2 (Planned): Agent-managed persistent skill registry with build scripts

Core Template System

Template Types

  1. Generic Template (templates/generic/CLAUDE_SKILLS_INTEGRATION.md)
    • Works with any CLI (Codex, Gemini, Kimi, custom agents)
    • Scans both project and user scope directories
    • Comprehensive two-scope skill discovery

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
