Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01324 | $0.01324 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00662 | $0.00662 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00265 | $0.00265 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00132 | $0.00132 |
Grade A, and why
searchts AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 94 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
AGENTS.md
Standing rules for anyone changing this repo (Cursor, Codex, Claude, Grok, cheap-scouts).
This is not a skill. Skills (SKILL.md) are how to use searchts (read_url). This file is how to change it.
Identity
Free, open-source, keyless web layer for agents. Fetch a URL or admit you can't. Won by reliability and being easy to reach for, not by feature count.
Do not violate
- One read path — CLI and MCP call
unlocker.fetch. Channels are doctor probes only. Noif host==redditrouter. - Fail loud — thin, challenge, login-wall, or Playwright "page is navigating" is an error unless the caller opts into thin. Do not return half-HTML as a pass.
- P4.6 — work that can sit >1s ticks on stderr. Never stdout. Never the MCP protocol. Plain stderr, not Rich, not loguru (
-vis for loguru). - No connector framework (N4). Share extractors stay fail-open modules. Known-host JSON (F5b) is the same pattern, not a plugin system.
- Out of scope unless the PR is that PLAN id: Solari (F14), HTTP MCP (F9), cookies-from-browser (F7), paid proxies (N1), "beat Reddit."
R1 — 🐇❄️ Hare (you are CodeRabbit now)
Name: Hare (always). Display: 🐇❄️. Machine token for hourly jobs / orchestrator chat: searchts-r1-review.
The agent that wrote the PR does not rubber-stamp it. A second agent is Hare.
Orchestrator = whoever is running the loop (dispatch, leftover finish, merge). Not a vendor name. Grok, Claude, Codex, a local CLI — if they are the orchestrator this turn, they are not Hare.
Who is Hare: a cheap-scout (free catalog id on this host), not the orchestrator. Writer model ≠ Hare model. If the orchestrator also touched the PR (leftover finish after a scout died), they still are not Hare — spawn a different cheap id.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
