magehub: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

magehub CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from caravanglory/magehub. It costs 1,315 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of project instructions for the magehub codebase, with AGENTS.md as the main reference. It documents how to install, build, test, lint, format, and run the command-line tool locally.

In plain words
What is it for?
Working on magehub, especially when editing TypeScript, building the CLI, running Vitest tests, checking lint and formatting, or trying commands from the generated distribution.
Why use it?
It gives coding agents a shared set of repository rules and commands, including how to run one test and how to exercise the built program.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01315 $0.01315
Opus 5 $0.00658 $0.00658
Sonnet 5 $0.00263 $0.00263
Haiku 4.5 $0.00131 $0.00131

Measured 7d ago against content hash 5cff6fe8a636, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

magehub CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CLAUDE.md

This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.

Primary reference: AGENTS.md

AGENTS.md in the repo root is the canonical style and testing guide for this project. Read it before editing source. It covers: build/lint/test commands (including how to run a single test), import ordering, the .js extension rule for local imports, naming conventions, error-handling strategy, command file pattern, and test style. Don't duplicate that guidance here — follow it.

Common commands

npm install
npm run build # tsup -> dist/ (ESM, node18, with shebang banner)
npm run test # vitest run (all tests)
npm run test:watch
npm run lint # eslint with type-checking
npm run format:check # prettier (no auto-fix)

# Single test
npx vitest run tests/unit/skill-loader.test.ts
npx vitest run -t "loadSkillFile"

# Exercising the CLI locally after build
node ./dist/index.js install module-plugin
node ./dist/index.js skill:list
node ./dist/index.js generate

There is no npm run start / dev script — the CLI is consumed via the built dist/index.js (declared in package.json bin).

Architecture

MageHub is a TypeScript CLI that reads bundled + user-authored Magento 2 "skill" definitions and renders them into AI-tool-specific context files (Claude, OpenCode, Codex, Qoder).

The data flow is:

skills/**/*.yaml ──► skill-loader ──► skill-normalizer ──► SkillRegistry
     (+ custom_skills_path) │
                                                                     ▼
.magehub.yaml ──► config-manager ──────────────────────────► renderer
                                                                    │
                                                                    ▼
                                                  templates/<format>.skill.hbs (per-skill)

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
