Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.03048 | $0.03048 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01524 | $0.01524 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00610 | $0.00610 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00305 | $0.00305 |
Grade A, and why
ILSpy-MCP CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 153 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Project
ILSpy MCP — Feature Parity
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that exposes ILSpy's .NET decompilation and static analysis capabilities as tools for AI assistants. Currently has 8 tools covering basic type inspection (~25-30% of ILSpy GUI functionality). This milestone extends it to full reverse engineering feature parity — cross-reference tracing, IL output, assembly metadata, string search, resource extraction, and bulk decompilation.
Core Value: AI assistants can perform complete .NET static analysis workflows — not just read code, but trace execution, find usages, search strings, and navigate across types and assemblies.
Constraints
- Tech stack: C#, .NET, ICSharpCode.Decompiler, System.Reflection.Metadata, MCP SDK — no new runtime dependencies
- Architecture: Follow existing layered pattern (Domain/Infrastructure/Application/Transport)
- Testing: Critical-path tests for P0 features and all bug fixes to ensure nothing breaks
- Compatibility: Must not break existing 8 tools during upgrades
Technology Stack
Current Stack (Baseline)
| Technology | Current Version | Target Version | Breaking? |
|---|---|---|---|
| ICSharpCode.Decompiler | 9.1.0.7988 | 10.0.0.8330 | YES |
| ModelContextProtocol | 0.4.0-preview.3 | 1.2.0 | YES |
| Microsoft.Extensions.Hosting | 8.0.0 | 10.0.0 | Minor |
| .NET Runtime | net9.0 | net9.0 (keep) | NO |
| xUnit | 2.9.2 | 2.9.3 (keep v2) | NO |
| FluentAssertions | 8.8.0 | 8.9.0 | NO |
Recommended Stack
Core Decompilation
| Technology | Version | Purpose | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| ICSharpCode.Decompiler | 10.0.0.8330 | C# decompilation, IL disassembly, type system | Just released (2026-04-06). Still targets netstandard2.0, compatible with net9.0. Adds IDecompilerTypeSystem interface on CSharpDecompiler constructor for better testability, new ExpandParamsArguments and AlwaysMoveInitializer settings. |
| System.Reflection.Metadata | 9.0.0+ (transitive) | IL scanning, metadata reading, cross-reference analysis | Comes transitively via ICSharpCode.Decompiler. Provides MetadataReader, MethodBodyBlock.GetILReader(), ILOpCode enum, BlobReader for raw IL bytecode scanning. This is the engine for string search (ldstr), constant search (ldc.*), and cross-reference tracing. |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ILSpy-MCP CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository cervonwong/ILSpy-MCP (25 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 3,048 tokens to every session, about $0.0152 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
