Project Overview

Vitex is a Typst-based resume generator built with Next.js 16, React 19, and TypeScript 6. The application generates professional Typst code from structured resume data and compiles PDFs locally using Typst. It uses a custom two-column layout built with Typst's grid system for maximum compatibility.

Design System: Phantom - A soft, monochromatic aubergine + lavender aesthetic featuring:

  • Flat surfaces — the only shadow is a single lavender glow (shadow-glow) on the primary CTA
  • 1px ash (#e9e8ea) borders; pill geometry (rounded-full) for buttons/nav/tags, rounded-3xl cards, rounded-2xl inputs
  • Paper canvas (#fdfcfe) with bone panels; aubergine (#3c315b) spine for headings, nav, and dark sections
  • Whisper-weight Geist typography (weights 300/400/500 only; font-medium is the ceiling) with -0.025em tracking
  • No dark mode - single cohesive light theme
