AI-Skills-Collections: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

AI-Skills-Collections AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from CHENyiru3/AI-Skills-Collections. It costs 596 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A repository instruction guide for a collection of AI-agent skills. It describes where different kinds of skill files and supporting materials belong, along with lightweight commands for checking files and testing changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding or maintaining skills in this repository, locating reference files, checking skill-file placement, or running the listed smoke tests.
Why use it?
It gives contributors shared rules for organising and validating the collection instead of relying on personal conventions. The supplied details are limited to repository structure and basic checks.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00596 $0.00596
Opus 5.5 $0.00238 $0.00238
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00119 $0.00119
Haiku 4.5 $0.00060 $0.00060

Security

Grade A, and why

AI-Skills-Collections AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Repository Guidelines

Project Structure & Module Organization

This repository is a catalog of AI agent skills. Each skill lives in a leaf directory and is discovered through SKILL.md.

  • agent/: coding-agent and protocol skills.
  • document-skills/: Office, PDF, design, frontend, and artifact skills.
  • Font_end/: website maintenance skills. Preserve this existing directory name.
  • python-skills/: Python library engineering skills and supporting references.
  • ai-ml-skills/: deep learning, LLM, and training skills.
  • compbio-skills/: computational biology, single-cell, spatial, workflow, and database skills.
  • writing/: academic writing, LaTeX, and Obsidian skills.
  • docs/: catalog pages and guides.

Skill-local support files belong under references/, scripts/, assets/, or evals/.

Build, Test, and Development Commands

There is no global build step. Use lightweight validation:

rg --files -g 'SKILL.md' # list all skills
find . -name SKILL.md -print # verify skill file placement
python path/to/script.py --help # smoke-test changed helper scripts

For install checks, follow README.md and verify each installed leaf directory contains SKILL.md.

Coding Style & Naming Conventions

Write skill directories in lowercase kebab-case, for example python-skills/api-design/. Keep skills self-contained; avoid external file references unless intentional and documented.

SKILL.md files must start on line 1 with YAML frontmatter. Include at least name and a specific description that explains trigger conditions. Use concise Markdown, actionable steps, and relative paths.

Python helper scripts should be readable, typed where practical, and executable from their skill directory. Prefer the standard library unless a requirements file declares dependencies.

Testing Guidelines

No repository-wide test framework is configured. When changing a skill, manually validate the trigger description, referenced paths, and commands in examples. When changing scripts, run the smallest relevant smoke test, such as --help or a sample input. Add focused examples under references/ when behavior is non-obvious.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
