Project Overview
UK Parliament MCP Server (Unofficial), a community project that is not affiliated with or endorsed by UK Parliament. One Python 3.11+ package (uk-parliament-mcp) ships two front ends over the public *.parliament.uk REST APIs:
- MCP server (
uk-parliament-mcp/python -m uk_parliament_mcp): FastMCP over stdio, with 233 read-only tools plus prompts and resources. - CLI (
parliament): a Typer app with command groups (members,bills,votes,committees,hansard,composite,live,digest,watch,api,guide, …).
End-user usage of both is documented in README.md.

mypy runs in strict mode. Ruff line length is 100, but E501 is ignored because tool docstrings are long single lines.
