Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01725 | $0.01725 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00863 | $0.00863 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00345 | $0.00345 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00172 | $0.00172 |
Grade A, and why
creator-research-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 102 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Working on this repo — read this first
This file exists so any AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or otherwise) working on this repo stays on course. It was written after a real incident: a large, well-engineered feature set (Instagram OAuth via Meta Graph API, a shared "auth broker" service, SponsorBlock, consolidated research tools) was built in one session without checking it against these principles, and had to be fully reverted because it contradicted #2 below. Check new work against this file before building it, not after.
Non-negotiable principles
- Client-reasoning only. The server fetches and structures data. It never runs its own LLM, embeddings, local model, OCR, or transcription engine. If a task seems to require one of those, stop and ask the user first — don't add the dependency speculatively.
- No shared or centralized infrastructure. Every user runs their own copy of this MCP with their own credentials (see the README's "Installation" section). Never introduce a component that requires the maintainer to run a persistent shared server (an OAuth broker, a hosted API, a shared database) without first confirming with the user — it directly contradicts the "there is no shared server" promise already documented in the README.
- Lightweight and free by design. No heavy dependencies: no Python, no native ML libraries, no headless browsers beyond what's already used (jsdom for Readability). Statistics are deterministic (median/MAD for outliers, TF-IDF for comment clustering) — not embeddings, not an ML model.
- Never fabricate data. If a metric can't be computed (missing denominator, insufficient
sample size), return
nullplus an explicit entry in alimitations: string[]array. Never guess or interpolate. - English only in the repo. Code comments, docs, README, tool descriptions, and error messages are English — regardless of what language the conversation with the user is in. Exception: deliberate multilingual pattern-matching data (e.g. a Spanish stopword list) is fine, but comment that it's intentional.
- Confirm before architecture changes. Before adding a new third-party integration, an OAuth flow, a new external service dependency, or anything that changes the project's shape in a way that could conflict with principles #1–#3, stop and ask the user directly. Don't build it first and hope the docs reconcile later.
- Tests for every new pure-logic module. Before considering a change complete, run
pnpm build && pnpm lint && pnpm typecheck && pnpm test— all four, not a subset.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

creator-research-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository CleanCod3Systems/creator-research-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,725 tokens to every session, about $0.0086 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
