Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00737 | $0.00737 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00368 | $0.00368 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00147 | $0.00147 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00074 | $0.00074 |
Grade A, and why
uptimebolt-mcp-server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 62 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
UptimeBolt MCP Server — an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that exposes infrastructure monitoring tools for Claude, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client. It connects to the UptimeBolt API and provides 10 tools for monitoring, incident management, predictions, and deployment safety.
Build & Development Commands
npm run build # Compile TypeScript to dist/
npm run typecheck # Type check without emitting (used in CI)
npm run lint # ESLint
npm run start # Run stdio server (requires UPTIMEBOLT_API_KEY env var)
npm run start:http # Run HTTP server on port 3100
npm run dev # Run stdio server via ts-node (development)
npm run dev:http # Run HTTP server via ts-node (development)
CI runs typecheck and build only. No automated tests exist.
Environment Variables
UPTIMEBOLT_API_KEY— Required for stdio mode; HTTP mode receives it per-request viax-api-keyheaderUPTIMEBOLT_API_URL— API base URL (default:https://api.uptimebolt.io)MCP_HTTP_PORT— HTTP server port (default: 3100)LOG_LEVEL— Winston log level (default:debugin dev, infoin production)NODE_ENV—developmentorproduction
Architecture
Two Transport Modes
- Stdio (
src/server.ts): UsesStdioServerTransportfrom MCP SDK. For local/CLI use and Claude Desktop. Validates API key once at startup. - HTTP (
src/http-server.ts): Express server withStreamableHTTPServerTransport. Stateless per-request model. Validates API key per request fromx-api-keyheader. Has/healthendpoint.
Tool System (src/tools.ts + src/tools/*.ts)
Handler registry pattern: TOOLS array defines MCP tool schemas, HANDLERS object maps tool names to async handler functions. Each tool file in src/tools/ exports a single handler function.
Tools accept an optional context parameter for passing auth tokens (used in HTTP mode). Many tools support fuzzy matching by name (e.g., service_name, monitor_name) with fallback to ID-based lookup.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

uptimebolt-mcp-server CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository clm-cloud-solutions/uptimebolt-mcp-server (2 stars, last pushed 6mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 737 tokens to every session, about $0.0037 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
