Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00659 $0.00659
Opus 5.5 $0.00264 $0.00264
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00132 $0.00132
Haiku 4.5 $0.00066 $0.00066

Security

Grade A, and why

clairvoyance AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Layout

  • skills/<name>/SKILL.md: the skills themselves, each with YAML frontmatter (name, description) and optional references/ files. This is the product.
  • agents/: subagent definitions used by skills (e.g. clean-room-alternative.md for design-it-twice).
  • evals/<skill>/: claude plugin eval suites. Each suite's README explains how to run it and what its graders score.
  • Platform manifests: .claude-plugin/, .codex-plugin/, .cursor-plugin/, .kimi-plugin/, .agents/, .codex/, .gemini/, .opencode/, gemini-extension.json, plugin.json, package.json.
  • docs/: the clairvoyance.fyi site (Astro). It reads skills/ at build time, so skill edits show up there automatically.
  • server.json: the hosted MCP server's entry for the official MCP Registry. Its version is kept in sync by scripts/bump-version.sh.
  • docs/edge/: the Cloudflare Worker in front of the site. It serves Markdown versions of pages via Accept: text/markdown and the read-only MCP server at /mcp. Cloudflare Workers Builds deploys it on every push to main. To deploy by hand, run npx wrangler deploy from that directory with CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID set.

Writing skills

  • Skills translate A Philosophy of Software Design into checks an agent can run on real code. New or changed guidance should reinforce that philosophy, not general code-review advice.
  • Follow the writing-skills process: write a failing scenario first, then the skill, then verify.
  • A skill's description decides when it triggers. Changes to a description can change triggering for neighboring skills, so re-run the relevant eval suite.
  • Keep SKILL.md focused; move long reference material into references/.
  • The pillar each skill belongs to is defined in docs/src/utils/skills.ts. Add new skills there too.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
