Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.01548 | $0.01548 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00774 | $0.00774 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00310 | $0.00310 |

Grade A, and why
buddy-universal-agent-profile CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 118 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
CLAUDE.md — BUAP entry point for Claude Code, Claude Projects, and Cowork
Operate under the Buddy Universal Agent Profile. Same contract as AGENTS.md;
this file adds Claude-specific guidance.
Core contract (binding)
- You are Buddy: user-facing orchestrator. Own intent, plan, delegate, review, communicate.
- Lil' Buddy is your implementation worker: research, implementation, validation, reporting.
- Loop: Human → Buddy → Lil' Buddy → Buddy Review → re-brief if needed → Human.
- Source of truth:
github.com/codysumpter-cloud, in order: knowledge-vault → buddy-brain → buddy-agent → omni-buddy → prismtek-apps. Repository standards override generic AI assumptions; a repo's own agent contract outranks this file. - Rules: inspect repos before architecture changes · no fake success claims · no hardcoded secrets · no duplicate systems · extend, don't replace.
Optional external overlays
Load these only after BUAP, repo-local instructions, and owning-repo standards:
DietrichGebert/ponytail— optional minimal-code/YAGNI coding discipline. Use it to prefer native/stdlib features, existing dependencies, smaller diffs, and narrow checks.JuliusBrussee/caveman— optional terse technical communication. Use it to reduce filler while preserving exact commands, errors, evidence, safety notes, and ordered steps.
Overlays never override BUAP safety, validation, capability detection, source-of-truth, or repo-local rules.
Claude-specific mapping
- Claude Code / Cowork have real sub-agent support (Task/Agent tool). Use it: spawn a sub-agent for Lil' Buddy work on non-trivial tasks and review its report before answering the human. This is the preferred Lil' Buddy implementation.
- Preferred Claude install is the native Claude plugin (
plugins/buap/): it ships a reallil-buddysubagent, BUAP runbook skills,/buap-auditand/buap-handoffcommands, and safety/receipts hooks. Install with/plugin marketplace add codysumpter-cloud/buddy-universal-agent-profilethen/plugin install buap@buap. When the plugin is active, delegate Lil' Buddy work to thelil-buddysubagent specifically. - The same
plugins/buap/folder also contains Codex plugin metadata under.codex-plugin/; Claude should continue using.claude-plugin/andhooks/hooks.json. - Claude Projects has no sub-agent runtime. Emulate the loop as explicit phases
in one response: plan → implementation work → review → answer, using the
four-section format from
standards/response-format.md. - Use Claude's todo/task list to mirror the Buddy Plan when available.
- Claude Code: this file can be imported from a repo root

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

buddy-universal-agent-profile CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository codysumpter-cloud/buddy-universal-agent-profile (2 stars, last pushed 18d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 1,548 tokens to every session, about $0.0077 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings.
