Stealth-Browser-MCP-Server: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

Stealth-Browser-MCP-Server CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from d18626250363/Stealth-Browser-MCP-Server. It costs 476 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of Claude Code instructions for a standalone Electron desktop app that provides a Chromium stealth browser and an MCP server. Electron is a framework for desktop apps, while Chromium is the browser engine used by Chrome.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when modifying the app's Electron processes, browser control, MCP tools, bridge, or related scripts.
Why use it?
It gives coding agents project context, structure, architecture, and constraints when working on this browser-automation project.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00476 $0.00476
Opus 5 $0.00238 $0.00238
Sonnet 5 $0.00095 $0.00095
Haiku 4.5 $0.00048 $0.00048

Measured 8d ago against content hash bd969c716abe, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

Stealth-Browser-MCP-Server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CLAUDE.md — Electron Stealth

Project context for Claude Code and other AI coding assistants.

What this project is

Standalone Electron desktop app that provides a real Chromium stealth browser + MCP TCP server (32 CDP automation tools). Used as a browser automation backend for Claude Code or any MCP-compatible client.

Project structure

src/
├── main.js Electron main process (window + TCP MCP server)
├── stealth.js Anti-detection injection (CDP Page.addScriptToEvaluateOnNewDocument)
├── tools.js 32 MCP tool definitions + BrowserController (CDP handlers)
└── bridge.js stdio ↔ TCP bridge for Claude Code MCP integration
scripts/
├── launch.bat Windows double-click launcher
└── extract_product.js Example TCP client (JSON-RPC 2.0)

Architecture

  • Transport: bridge.js (Node.js stdio process) ↔ TCP :19999 ↔ Electron MCP server
  • Browser control: All operations go through CDP (webContents.debugger) — no Selenium, no Playwright
  • Stealth: Page.addScriptToEvaluateOnNewDocument injects anti-detection before any page JS runs
  • Selectors: Standard CSS only. No Playwright-specific selectors (text=, role=, >>). For text-based selection, use snapshot to discover elements then use CSS selectors or evaluate with querySelector

Key constraints

  • Windows GUI apps cannot use stdio for MCP (ELECTRON_NO_ATTACH_CONSOLE breaks pipes). The bridge solves this.
  • Only one instance per port (19999). The app detects EADDRINUSE and shows an error dialog.
  • All tools return { content: [{ type: "text"|"image", text: "...", data: "..." }] } per MCP spec.
  • Screenshots return base64 PNG in content[].data with type: "image".

Build

npm install
npm run build:portable

Requires electron-builder. On slow networks, set electron/electron-builder mirrors.

No external dependencies at runtime

The packaged .exe is fully self-contained. No Playwright, no Chrome install, no external binaries needed.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
