Mnemion
Persistent, evolving shared memory between a human and their AI agents. MCP server on Cloudflare Workers.
Source is organized into component directories, each with a co-located
*.spec.md containing its intent, entrances, and named requirements. The
installed PostHog Coherence package
checks those specs and delivers vocabulary and findings through Claude and Codex
hooks. entities/ holds the Durable Objects and domain logic; shared/ holds
cross-cutting primitives; src/ holds the worker entry, render fragment,
system docs, and tests. The React web app lives under web/.
Per-doc roots: project-docs/archived/ (design docs), mnemion-js/ (the
worker), Mnemion.spec.md (root spec), coherence.config.json (harness
config), scripts/setup.sh (first-run setup).
Peer: mnemion-swift/ — the native SwiftUI client (iOS/iPadOS now; macOS and
visionOS build from the same target; watchOS declared in the MnemionKit
package). A pure client of /api/* + /ws via OAuth bearer, no replica. See
mnemion-swift/README.md; the Xcode project is generated by XcodeGen.
The current component and invariant reading is available with
cd mnemion-js && npx --no -- coherence scope. The old generated graph is
historical material under mnemion-js/docs/coherence/; it is not refreshed by
the new package.
Current state
Deploys as a single Cloudflare Worker that exposes MCP at /mcp. Cross-surface data sharing proven (Claude Code + Claude.ai reading/writing the same store).
Architecture
Two Durable Objects:
- SessionDO (
McpAgent) — one per MCP session, handles protocol, proxies to hive via RPC - HiveDO — one per user, holds all SQLite data. Keyed by
user:{userId}(currently always"owner")
HiveDO is a thin wiring shell. Domain logic lives in pure-function modules with db/context injected:
