x64dbg-skills: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

x64dbg-skills CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from dariushoule/x64dbg-skills. It costs 503 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Documentation for a Claude Code plugin that provides coding-agent skills for automating analysis with the x64dbg Windows debugger.

In plain words
What is it for?
It covers memory snapshots and comparisons, C-like decompilation, YARA signature scans, execution tracing, shellcode analysis, packed-program entry-point finding, and vulnerability hunting.
Why use it?
It explains how the plugin is organized and what each included debugger skill is intended to do, so an agent can select the right procedure.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00503 $0.00503
Opus 5 $0.00251 $0.00251
Sonnet 5 $0.00101 $0.00101
Haiku 4.5 $0.00050 $0.00050

Measured 11d ago against content hash ae923f86a341, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

x64dbg-skills CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

x64dbg-skills

Claude Code plugin providing skills for x64dbg debugger automation.

Structure

  • skills/ — Skill definitions (SKILL.md files define each skill's steps and allowed tools)
  • Each skill folder contains its own Python script (e.g. skills/decompile/decompile.py)
  • .claude-plugin/ — Plugin metadata (plugin.json, marketplace.json)
  • .claude/settings.local.json — Default permission grants for x64dbg MCP tools

Skills

  • /state-snapshot — Captures all committed memory regions + registers to disk
  • /state-diff — Compares two snapshots and explains what changed
  • /decompile — Decompiles a function to C pseudocode via angr
  • /yara-sigs — Scans snapshot memory dumps with YARA signatures (packers, crypto, anti-debug, etc.)
  • /tracealyzer — Traces execution and analyzes the recorded instruction log
  • /shellcode-analyzer — Loads, unpacks, and analyzes shellcode in x64dbg
  • /find-oep — Smart trace-based OEP finder for packed/protected PEs (heuristic OEP discovery + state snapshot)
  • /vuln-hunter — Hunts for vulnerabilities via import/export recon, attack surface triage, and iterative bug hunting with PoC generation

Key Patterns

  • Skills that require raw X64DbgClient access disconnect the MCP client before running Python scripts (only one ZMQ client allowed at a time), then reconnect after
    • Python scripts can use the x64dbg_automate package and X64DbgClient to communicate directly with x64dbg
    • Skills should only communicate directly when MCP access would be poor use of context, slow, or generally innefficient
  • Addresses are hex strings throughout (e.g. 0x7FF6A0001000)
  • The plugin targets both 32-bit and 64-bit debuggees (use eip/rip accordingly)

Dependencies

  • x64dbg_automate[mcp] (pip) — required for all skills
  • angr (pip) — required only for /decompile
  • yara-python (pip) — required only for /yara-sigs
  • lief (pip) — required only for /vuln-hunter
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
