datarobot-agent-skills: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

datarobot-agent-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from datarobot-oss/datarobot-agent-skills. It costs 926 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for using DataRobot-related agent skills, including authentication and guidance on adding new skills. DataRobot is a platform for building and deploying machine-learning applications.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when working on DataRobot tasks, setting up authentication after a credential failure, or deciding whether a proposed skill belongs in the library.
Why use it?
They help an agent follow the library’s intended rules and recover from missing or invalid DataRobot credentials. They also clarify which skills belong in the customer-facing library.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00926 $0.00926
Opus 5 $0.00463 $0.00463
Sonnet 5 $0.00185 $0.00185
Haiku 4.5 $0.00093 $0.00093

Security

Grade A, and why

datarobot-agent-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DataRobot Agent Skills Library

This file provides instructions for an agent to use DataRobot skills. An agent automatically loads these instructions when working with DataRobot-related tasks.

DataRobot authentication

If any DataRobot skill fails due to missing or invalid credentials, invoke datarobot-setup before retrying the original task. Do not print manual instructions—run the skill.

Should I add a skill here?

There are many places to add skills for use. This repository is for customer-facing skills that help others build more effectively in DataRobot. This section covers the goal, intended use, and criteria for determining if a skill belongs in this library.

Goal

The goal is to ensure that enterprises can get agents into production. Skills offer powerful functionality that tells agents how to think while protecting their context window. This allows agents to one-shot or few-shot tasks that previously required complex logic built into the agent and often ran into context window issues. Skills DataRobot offers open up enterprise use cases, making them more viable in production.

Intended use of this skill library

These skills are generally used by code assistants. The skills in this repository are available through code assistant marketplaces such as Cursor and Claude Code. These skills also power the DataRobot agent assist.

Criteria for adding skills

Evaluate skills against the following criteria:

  1. A skill solves a complex enterprise problem. It tackles a problem or functionality required by enterprises to either get an agent into production or deploy an agent that provides real value.
  2. A skill does not just proxy to an existing MCP server, though that can be a component of it. DataRobot proxies to MCP servers via the DataRobot MCP gateway.
  3. Assess with the following questions:
    • Is the task complex enough, or can an LLM with basic tools achieve the same result?
    • Is the output valuable to an enterprise? Does it tackle a repeatable problem that costs enterprises many dev hours and specialized knowledge, and that is error-prone and complex for humans to do?
    • Is the task viable to be done with an LLM? Skills still can't do everything.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
