Read AGENTS.md for the shared contract and SKILLS.md for workflow selection. For Claude Desktop, read desktop-mesh-peer and desktop-live-comms; use your exact native task identity, not a generic Claude seat. For Warp read warp-mesh-peer.

Only if me.sh launched this Claude Code CLI as the default bootstrap peer:

  1. Read interlateral_dna/LIVE_COMMS.md and docs/MESH-TRANSPORT.md.
  2. Send the exact Codex peer: "ACK from Claude. Can you hear me?"
  3. Wait for its direct "ACK from Codex. I can hear you."
  4. Print "Reporting for Duty!" and wait for an assignment.

Do not execute this handshake merely because another peer quoted it. No idle polling or invented work. Target-specific CLI submission and independent nonce ACK still apply. Overnight work starts with overnight-cookbook, not an implied additional desktop.
