trello-skill AGENTS.md

trello-skill AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from dbhq-uk/trello-skill. It costs 664 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A collection of instructions and task skills for working with Trello, a service for managing boards, lists, and cards. It includes guidance for the repository layout, conventions, installation, and Trello REST API access.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for Trello board, list, and card management, shopping-list sorting, board summaries, due-date checks, and personal-board organization. It also helps maintain or extend the skill pack.
Why use it?
It gives agents a consistent way to find and use the Trello-related skills and shared scripts. This reduces setup confusion and helps scripts work from different locations.

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Security

Grade A, and why

trello-skill AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

AGENTS.md

Guidance for AI agents (and people) working in this repository.

What this is

The Trello skill pack for AI coding agents - a set of skills for working with Trello via the REST API. It follows the Agent Skills layout (skills/<name>/SKILL.md) and ships as a Claude Code plugin.

Layout

.claude-plugin/plugin.json # plugin manifest (bundles all skills below)
skills/trello/ # core board/list/card management + setup
skills/store-sort/ # shopping list into store-aisle order (Tesco preset)
skills/board-digest/ # board status snapshot
skills/due-radar/ # due/overdue across boards
skills/life-manager/ # personal board setup, triage and coaching
install.sh / install-codex.sh # local symlink installers (Claude / Codex)

Each skill is skills/<name>/SKILL.md plus optional scripts/ and references/.

Conventions

  • Scripts are self-contained: they read credentials from ~/.trello/config.json and have no bundled-path dependencies, so they run from any location.
  • The trello core skill owns setup and the shared API scripts. Other skills (e.g. store-sort) call the core scripts by their ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/../trello/scripts/... path - ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR} is the calling skill's own directory, so ../trello is the sibling core skill (all skills sit side by side under the plugin / ~/.claude/skills/).
  • SKILL.md references scripts via ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR} (the skill's own directory), which Claude Code substitutes for personal, project, and plugin installs alike. install.sh therefore symlinks the whole skill directory into ~/.claude/skills/ (no rewrite). install-codex.sh still rewrites the variable to the install path, since Codex does not substitute it.
  • Shell scripts use set -e; errors go to stderr, structured output to stdout.
  • Any caller-supplied text sent to the API (card names, descriptions, comments) goes through curl --data-urlencode, never plain -d - -d sends the body raw, so an & silently truncates the value and a + arrives as a space.
  • No secrets in the repo - credentials live under ~/.trello/.
  • House style: British English, plain hyphens.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
