Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01510 | $0.01510 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00604 | $0.00604 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00302 | $0.00302 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00151 | $0.00151 |
Grade A, and why
9remote CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 17d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 79 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

What this is
9Remote — remote terminal + desktop + file explorer accessible from any phone/browser. Two runtimes talk over a shared transport protocol:
host/— Node.js CLI that runs on the user's machine (the "host"). Serves PTY terminals, WebRTC screen streaming, file explorer. Published to npm as9remote.web/— Next.js app (React 19) deployed to Cloudflare Workers via OpenNext. The client UI + signaling/session API backed by Cloudflare D1.- The phone/browser (
web) connects to the host through a Cloudflare tunnel;web's API only does signaling, auth, and session brokering — the actual terminal/screen data flows host↔client over WS or WebRTC.
npm workspaces: host, web, gitbook (docs site), desktop (Tauri wrapper). expo/ is a separate mobile app (not a workspace).
Commands
Run from repo root unless noted.
npm run dev # host + web together (run-p)
npm run host:dev # host only, TUI mode
npm run host:dev:ui # host only, web-UI mode at localhost:2208
npm run web:dev # web only (Next dev)
npm run host:build # sync version + build npm pkg (scripts/buildPkg.js, esbuild + obfuscation)
npm run host:publish # build + npm publish
npm run web:deploy # deploy web to Cloudflare Workers
npm run pc:dev # Tauri dev (host UI + native shell)
npm run pc:build # build host pkg, then sign + notarize the macOS app
npm run secrets:sync # push web/.dev.vars secrets to Cloudflare (--env=production|dev)
Host-local scripts (cd host): npm run dev (nodemon TUI), npm run dev:ui (server + Vite UI), npm run build:ui (Vite build of host/ui).
No test runner is configured. ESLint via eslint.config.mjs (next config). Lint: npx eslint ..
Architecture
Transport (the core abstraction)
host/transport/ and web/shared/transport/ are mirror implementations of the same protocol. When you change the wire format, message framing, or codec, change BOTH sides.
ProtocolManager.jspicks/negotiates a protocol;WsProtocol.js(Socket.IO) andWebRtcProtocol.js(node-datachannel on host, browser RTCPeerConnection on web) are the two transports.codec.jsencodes/decodes messages;registry.jsmaps message types to handlers.- Terminal + file explorer default to WS; remote desktop uses WebRTC data channels for low latency.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
