transcreve-ai: Instructions file for GitHub Copilot

.github/copilot-instructions.md

transcreve-ai copilot-instructions.md is an instructions file for GitHub Copilot from DeHor-Labs/transcreve-ai. It costs 322 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository guidance for TranscreveAI, a tool used within GitHub Copilot and VS Code agent workflows to analyse information and save reusable knowledge.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps run analyses, create reports such as knowledge.md and analysis.json, save durable findings, update their index, and tell the calling agent where the results were stored.
Why use it?
It defines how nested runs, temporary test data, saved reports, and handoffs must be handled so results can be identified and reused safely.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00322 $0.00322
Opus 5 $0.00161 $0.00161
Sonnet 5 $0.00064 $0.00064
Haiku 4.5 $0.00032 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

transcreve-ai copilot-instructions.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

TranscreveAI Agent Instructions

These repository-wide instructions apply to GitHub Copilot Chat, Copilot code review, Copilot coding agent, and VS Code agent mode.

Required Nested Usage

  • Whenever an agent uses TranscreveAI, treat the execution as a nested workflow: keep run_id, out, and index-db identifiable for the calling agent.
  • When durable retention is requested, run transcreveai share RUN_ID --json after analysis to create handoff.md, manifest.json, knowledge.md, and analysis.json, and update share-root catalog.json/index.md for reuse.
  • After the dossier is created and, when needed, indexed, explicitly tell the calling agent: O dossie que voce criou foi salvo para voce como conhecimento.
  • The handoff message must include the path to knowledge.md, the run_id, and whether the knowledge was saved in the user's real index or in an isolated agent index.

Operational Rules

  • For smoke tests, demos, and automated validation, prefer --index-db /tmp/... and --out /tmp/... so proof runs do not pollute the user's real index.
  • When the user asks to use TranscreveAI, base the answer on generated artifacts (knowledge.md, analysis.json, and template files when present), not on a manual parallel dossier.
  • Do not expose API keys, cookies, or complete sensitive URLs in logs or responses.
  • Keep IDE/agent instruction files synchronized with AGENTS.md.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
