Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02409 | $0.02409 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01205 | $0.01205 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00482 | $0.00482 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00241 | $0.00241 |
Grade A, and why
obsidian-claude-sidebar CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 165 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Claude Sidebar - Agent Guide
Congrats, your user wants you to help them contribute to the Obsidian Claude Sidebar plugin. Your job is to help them produce a good contribution: a clean bug report, or a focused PR that fits what this plugin is, and is easy for the maintainer.
Repo: https://github.com/derek-larson14/obsidian-claude-sidebar
What this plugin does
Make agents feel native in Obsidian. The plugin runs the terminal that hosts the agent and routes Obsidian actions to it. It does not own anything else. The agent CLI (Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, OpenCode, Antigravity CLI, Kimi Code, GitHub Copilot, Pi) handles auth, models, billing, and its own UI.
Two things you can help the user do
- File a bug report. You hit something but don't have a fix. Diagnose (Step 1), then open an issue with the diagnostic block.
- Open a PR. (preferred) You have a fix or a small feature you want to propose. Diagnose, fix, test, then PR.
Step 1: Diagnose
Run through this list. The maintainer will ask for everything in it on every issue, so paste the block into your report. If you're opening a PR, use the same info as context for figuring out the fix.
Required (issues):
- Plugin version (Settings → Community plugins → Claude Sidebar - or read
manifest.json) - Install method (BRAT / manual / Obsidian community store)
- CLI backend and version (
claude --versionor equivalent for your backend) - Obsidian version + installer version (Settings → About - both numbers)
- OS and how Obsidian was installed
- Linux: snap, AppImage, deb, Flatpak
- Windows: installer or Microsoft Store
- Mac: dmg or Homebrew
- Other plugins active that touch hotkeys, layout, or terminals (BRAT, iconize, Vimrc). Load-order interactions cause real bugs.
Required for crashes or freezes:
- Developer console output. Open with
Cmd-Option-Ion Mac,Ctrl-Shift-Ion Windows/Linux. Copy any errors from the Console tab.
Already tried (check what applies):
- Restarted Obsidian
- Disabled other plugins
- Updated to latest plugin version
- Tested in a fresh empty vault
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
