mantine-analytics-dashboard: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

mantine-analytics-dashboard AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from design-sparx/mantine-analytics-dashboard. It costs 1,863 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A contributor guide for a single Next.js application that provides an analytics dashboard. It documents the pnpm commands, React-based structure, mock API data, formatting setup, and known project limitations.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when developing, building, linting, previewing, or adding components to the dashboard. It also explains where pages, API routes, mock data, and generated components belong.
Why use it?
It tells contributors which tools and commands the project actually uses, including details that differ from the README or package scripts. This avoids wasted work caused by using the wrong package manager or assuming tests exist.

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions Claude Code; reads ~/.codex paths.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01863 $0.01863
Opus 5.5 $0.00745 $0.00745
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00373 $0.00373
Haiku 4.5 $0.00186 $0.00186

Security

Grade A, and why

mantine-analytics-dashboard AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 24d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Package manager

  • Lockfile is pnpm-lock.yaml. Use pnpm, not npm/yarn, even though README and CI workflows reference npm/yarn.

Commands

pnpm dev # localhost:3000, React Compiler enabled
pnpm build # next build
pnpm start # next start
pnpm lint # next lint
pnpm prettier # prettier . --write
pnpm storybook # port 6006
pnpm build-storybook
pnpm changeset:add # add a changeset before PRs
pnpm generate:component Foo [basic|interactive|table|card]
  • There is no test runner. "test": "" in package.json and .husky/pre-commit runs npm test (no-op).
  • lint-staged is configured in package.json but NOT wired to husky — Prettier does not run on staged files automatically.
  • pnpm generate:component is buggy: it writes to ./components/ instead of ./src/components/. Verify paths and move files manually.

Architecture

  • Single Next.js 16 app (not a monorepo). App Router in src/app/.
  • Mock API routes in src/app/api/*/route.ts read JSON from public/mocks/*.json and return: { succeeded, data, errors: string[], message } (no timestamp; errors is string[], not the IApiError[] in src/types/api-response.ts).
  • middleware.ts is at the project root (not src/app/). It is a no-op — all routes are public.
  • Provider nesting: SystemNotificationsProvider → ThemeProvider.
  • SystemNotificationsProvider loads the latest announcement from public/system-announcements.json and persists dismissed IDs in localStorage (system-notifications). If every loaded announcement is already dismissed, it clears old dismissals and retries so genuinely new announcements surface.
  • Theme is static: layout defaults are fixed in src/layouts/Main/MainLayout.tsx; no dynamic theme customizer or localStorage theme persistence.
  • Single fetch idiom: useApiGet for GET, useApiWrite for POST/PUT/DELETE. All endpoint paths come from src/routes/api.ts; never hardcode /api/... strings.
  • Server components never fetch the app's own /api routes over HTTP, and there is no NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL. Read fixtures directly with loadMock (never throws, returns { data, error }) or readMock from src/lib/api/mock-route.ts, or mockStore for by-id reads. Client components use useApiGet/useDashboardResource.
  • Dead hook file src/lib/hooks/useApi.ts has been removed. The remaining convenience hooks live in src/lib/hooks/useApiGet.ts for GET and src/lib/hooks/useApiWrite.ts for writes.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
