Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01800 $0.01800
Opus 5 $0.00900 $0.00900
Sonnet 5 $0.00360 $0.00360
Haiku 4.5 $0.00180 $0.00180

Measured 8d ago against content hash 414223b4a8b5, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mcp-bsl-platform-help-context CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

MCP server (Python) that gives AI assistants access to 1C:Enterprise platform API documentation. Reads binary .hbk help files or pre-exported JSON, parses HTML pages into structured domain entities, and exposes MCP tools for fuzzy, semantic, and hybrid search. Python port of mcp-bsl-platform-context (Kotlin).

Commands

pip install -e . # Install in dev mode
pip install -e ".[dev]" # Install with pytest
pip install -e ".[local]" # Install with local embedding models (sentence-transformers, torch)

pytest -v # Run all tests (306)
pytest -v tests/test_search_engine.py # Single test module
pytest -v tests/test_search_engine.py::test_name  # Single test

# Run the server — YAML config (recommended)
mcp-bsl-context -c config.yml # Full config from YAML
mcp-bsl-context -c config.yml -p /opt/1cv8/x86_64 # YAML + CLI override

# Run the server — CLI options (env vars MCP_BSL_* also work)
mcp-bsl-context -p /opt/1cv8/x86_64 # Auto-detect latest version
mcp-bsl-context -p /opt/1cv8/x86_64 --platform-version 8.3.20 # Closest to 8.3.20
mcp-bsl-context -p /path -m streamable-http --port 8080 # Streamable HTTP transport
mcp-bsl-context -p /path --data-source json --json-path /path # JSON source

# Docker
docker compose up # CPU + API providers
docker compose --profile gpu up # GPU + local models
docker compose --profile json up # JSON data source

Configuration

YAML config file (config.yml) is the primary configuration method. See config.example.yml for all options.

Priority: YAML < env vars (MCP_BSL_*) < CLI arguments.

Key sections: server, platform, search, embeddings, reranker, storage, index, docs.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
