What is cortex AGENTS.md?

A set of project instructions for Cortex, a Rust service that collects logs from home servers and applications, stores them, and supports search and AI transcript matching. AGENTS.md is a file that tells coding agents how to work in a project.

Use it when working on Cortex features involving log collection, Docker or syslog input, OpenTelemetry data, SQLite search, or transcript correlation.

It gives an agent project-specific guidance for changing the Cortex codebase without having to rediscover its purpose and conventions.
