CV-nixCfg: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

CV-nixCfg AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from DivitMittal/CV-nixCfg. It costs 865 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for CV-nixCfg, an open-source LaTeX framework for building CVs, or résumés, with the Nix package manager. Personal CV information is kept separately from the template.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to set up the project with Nix, compile the CV with LaTeX, and build the Europass PDF from the separate personal-data source.
Why use it?
They explain how the private data is connected, how to enter the required development environment, and how to compile the CV into a PDF.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00865 $0.00865
Opus 5 $0.00432 $0.00432
Sonnet 5 $0.00173 $0.00173
Haiku 4.5 $0.00086 $0.00086

Security

Grade A, and why

CV-nixCfg AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Summary

What this repo is

CV-nixCfg — an open-source LaTeX CV framework managed with a Nix flake. The framework is generic; personal data (CV sections, contact info, Europass XML) lives in a separate private cv-data flake input. The compiled template is tex/cv.tex (moderncv class, pdflatex/xelatex) which \input{}s section files from the cv-data input via a devshell symlink at tex/cv-data/.

  • data.example/ — placeholder cv-data structure (copy to a private repo and override the flake input)
  • europass/build.py — Playwright automation for Europass PDF, reads from $CV_DATA_DIR

Dev environment

Enter the devshell (provides texlive, python3+Playwright, xmllint, nixd, alejandra, sets CV_DATA_DIR, and creates tex/cv-data/ symlink):

nix develop
# or with direnv: direnv allow

Build

Compile the CV to PDF from inside the devshell:

cd tex && pdflatex cv.tex
# or for better font handling:
cd tex && xelatex cv.tex
# or with latexmk (auto-reruns as needed):
cd tex && latexmk -pdf cv.tex

Build the Europass PDF (requires EUROPASS_EMAIL/EUROPASS_PASSWORD in shell or .envrc.local):

./build-europass.sh

Using your own cv-data

  1. Create a private repo matching data.example/ layout
  2. Override the flake input:
    nix flake lock --override-input cv-data "git+ssh://[email protected]/you/cv-data"

Formatting & checks

nix fmt # format all Nix files
nix flake check # pre-commit hooks + formatting

Pre-commit hooks run automatically on commit: trailing whitespace, merge conflict detection, large file check, and GitHub Actions workflow rendering (render-workflows re-generates .github/workflows/*.yml from flake/actions/*.nix).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
