codomyrmex AGENTS.md

codomyrmex AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from docxology/codomyrmex. It costs 7,909 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A repository instruction document for AI agents working in Codomyrmex, a modular coding workspace. It describes the project’s purpose, main folders, important files, and how the repository is organized.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when an agent needs to navigate Codomyrmex, understand its main development surfaces, or find the relevant documentation before making changes.
Why use it?
It gives agents a shared map of the repository so they know where source code, scripts, documentation, tests, and project workspaces belong.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.07909 $0.07909
Opus 5 $0.03954 $0.03954
Sonnet 5 $0.01582 $0.01582
Haiku 4.5 $0.00791 $0.00791

Measured 4d ago against content hash 0e1303316246, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

codomyrmex AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Codomyrmex Agents — Repository Root

Version: v1.3.0 | Status: Active | Last Updated: June 2026

Purpose

This is the root coordination document for all AI agents operating within the Codomyrmex repository. It defines the top-level structure, surfaces, and operating contracts that govern agent interactions across the entire project.

Codomyrmex is a modular coding workspace enabling AI development workflows with 130 top-level modules under src/codomyrmex/, plus project workspaces under projects/ for integration builds such as Paperclip adapters. This document serves as the central navigation hub for agents working with any part of the system. Repo metrics: docs/reference/inventory.md.

Repository Structure

Primary Surfaces

The repository is organized into distinct surfaces, each with specific responsibilities:

Surface Purpose Documentation
src/ Core source modules implementing functionality src/README.md
scripts/ Maintenance and automation utilities scripts/README.md
docs/ Project documentation (about Codomyrmex) docs/README.md
tests/ Test suites (unit and integration) tests/README.md
config/ Configuration templates and examples config/README.md
projects/ Project workspace, templates, and external adapter integrations (daf-consulting, hermes-paperclip-adapter) projects/README.md
src/codomyrmex/examples/ Executable examples and demos src/codomyrmex/examples/README.md
scripts/sair/ SAIR Mathematics Distillation submodule scripts/sair/README.md

Key Files

  • README.md - Primary entry point for users and contributors
  • AGENTS.md - This file: agent coordination and navigation
  • scripts/rasp_gap_report.py — regenerates docs/plans/agents-readme-gap-report.md (scoped AGENTS.md / README.md presence under src/codomyrmex/, docs/, projects/, scripts/, config/, .github/; see script docstring for excludes)
  • scripts/doc_inventory.py — prints repo doc metrics (module counts, workflows, optional pytest collect); output summarized in docs/reference/inventory.md
  • LICENSE - MIT License
  • SECURITY.md - Security policies and vulnerability reporting
  • pyproject.toml - Python package configuration
  • pyproject.toml ([tool.pytest.ini_options], [tool.coverage.*]) — pytest and coverage configuration
  • Makefile - Primary build and automation tasks (make test applies the 60% coverage gate)
  • justfile - Optional just recipes mirroring common Makefile targets
  • index.html - Root redirect to /output/website/index.html for static hosting entry
  • uv.lock - Python dependency lock file
  • start_here.sh - Interactive entry point for exploration
  • package.json - Root Node.js config (Playwright, docs scripts); Bun lockfiles live next to Bun projects (e.g. src/codomyrmex/pai_pm/server/bun.lock)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
