hacienda-cr: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

hacienda-cr AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from DojoCodingLabs/hacienda-cr. It costs 1,663 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for an electronic-invoicing codebase, covering how coding agents should understand, change, and verify its TypeScript packages.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when modifying the repository, choosing where shared logic belongs, installing dependencies, or running the same verification checks used by continuous integration.
Why use it?
They give agents a consistent starting point and reduce mistakes such as placing code in the wrong package or skipping the project's required checks.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01663 $0.01663
Opus 5.5 $0.00665 $0.00665
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00333 $0.00333
Haiku 4.5 $0.00166 $0.00166

Security

Grade A, and why

hacienda-cr AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 18d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Agent instructions

Start here

This repository provides Costa Rica electronic invoicing through four ESM TypeScript packages. Read the nearest package AGENTS.md before changing that package. Use source, package manifests, and CI as the authority for current behavior; update related documentation when behavior changes.

  • shared/: shared types, Zod input schemas, constants, and enums.
  • packages/sdk/: authentication, tax calculations, clave generation, XML, signing, configuration, and the Hacienda HTTP API.
  • packages/cli/: the hacienda command, wrapping SDK operations.
  • packages/mcp/: SDK tools and resources over MCP stdio.

Dependency direction is shared → SDK → {CLI, MCP}. CLI and MCP also import shared directly. Put reusable domain logic in shared or SDK, not in an adapter.

Workflow and verification

Use Node.js 22.13+ for repository tooling and the pnpm version pinned in package.json.

pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm verify

pnpm verify is the CI gate: formatting, lint, types, builds, offline tests, script regressions, and installed-package checks. It requires native xmllint and explicitly disables live credential tests. See testing for focused commands and prerequisites. Workspace imports resolve built outputs; rebuild dependencies before running package tests directly.

Inspect git status before editing. Preserve existing changes and untracked files; isolate work in a separate checkout when necessary. Do not reset, stash, commit, or format unrelated work. Stage only files belonging to the task. For documentation edits, format the changed files rather than running the repo-wide formatter in write mode.

Code and public contracts

  • Use strict TypeScript, ESM, .js relative import specifiers, and type-only imports. Follow colocated code for naming and error conventions.
  • Use shared Zod schemas for public input validation and SDK helpers for domain calculations. Keep schemas, types, XML builders, examples, and adapter inputs consistent when changing a field.
  • Tests are colocated *.spec.ts; use behavior regressions for substantive changes. Do not weaken assertions or validation to make a fixture pass.
  • Review package barrel exports and installed-consumer tests when changing public APIs or build configuration. Test source imports alone cannot verify npm usage.
  • Add a Changeset for published-package behavior changes. Documentation-only guidance changes do not require a package version bump.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
