aiagent: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

aiagent CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from drujensen/aiagent. It costs 1,051 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A project instruction file for Claude Code, describing how to build, run, test, and maintain the aiagent Go project. It also documents the project's Domain-Driven Design structure, which separates business rules from outside integrations.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it as a reference for building the application, running its terminal interface or web server, refreshing models, testing, formatting, and using Docker.
Why use it?
It gives the coding agent the repository's commands and architectural rules, reducing mistakes such as running the wrong checks or putting code in the wrong layer.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01051 $0.01051
Opus 5.5 $0.00420 $0.00420
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00210 $0.00210
Haiku 4.5 $0.00105 $0.00105

Security

Grade A, and why

aiagent CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Architecture

This project is a framework for building and interacting with AI agents. It follows Domain-Driven Design (DDD) with a strict separation between internal/domain/ (business logic) and internal/impl/ (external integrations).

Core Separation

Agent vs. Model: The key design distinction — an Agent defines behavior (system prompt, tools, name), while a Model defines inference (provider, model name, temperature, context window). A Chat links one Agent + one Model and holds the message history. This allows switching models or agents mid-conversation independently.

Package Layout

  • internal/domain/entities/ — core data types: Agent, Model, Chat, Message, Provider, ToolData, Skill
  • internal/domain/interfaces/ — repository and service interfaces (all implementations must satisfy these)
  • internal/domain/services/ — business logic: ChatService, AgentService, ModelService, ProviderService, ToolService, SkillService, ModelRefreshService
  • internal/impl/integrations/ — AI provider clients; AIModelIntegration is the base OpenAI-compatible implementation, with provider-specific subclasses for Anthropic, Google, xAI, etc.
  • internal/impl/repositories/json/ — file-based storage to .aiagent/storage/ (default) or ~/.aiagent/storage/ (with --global)
  • internal/impl/repositories/mongo/ — MongoDB-backed storage; both sets implement identical domain interfaces
  • internal/impl/tools/ — tool implementations: BashTool, FileReadTool, FileWriteTool, WebSearchTool, BrowserTool, VisionTool, CompressionTool, TodoTool, etc.
  • internal/impl/config/ — loads ~/.aiagent/config.yaml for API keys and provider settings
  • internal/impl/defaults/ — seed data for built-in providers, agents, and tools
  • internal/tui/ — Bubble Tea terminal UI
  • internal/ui/ — Echo web server with embedded static files and WebSocket for real-time updates

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
