In plain words
What is it for?

Why use it?
It gives coding agents the project's technology choices, file layout, conventions, and trading-related safety rules.

Instructions file for Claude CodeCodexOpenCode

Written for Claude Code and Codex and OpenCode: Claude Code plugin machinery, but also the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions AGENTS.md; mentions Codex.

This is dvgamerr-app/gokub-mcp's own configuration. It tells Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode how to work on gokub-mcp itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything gokub-mcp configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00695 $0.00695
Opus 5 $0.00347 $0.00347
Sonnet 5 $0.00139 $0.00139
Haiku 4.5 $0.00069 $0.00069

Measured 10d ago against content hash 564180e1268a, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

gokub-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Bitkub MCP Server — a Go MCP server for Bitkub Exchange: market data, indicators, risk sizing, orders, trade logging, plus the bitkub-trade playbook plugin.

Stack

Go 1.25.5 · module github.com/dvgamerr-app/gokub-mcp · mark3labs/mcp-go · dvgamerr-app/go-bitkub · rs/zerolog

Layout

main.go entrypoint + tool registration
tools/ MCP tools (+ tests)
prompts/ resources/ MCP prompts & resources
utils/ args, helpers, logging
plugins/bitkub-trade/ trading playbook plugin (skill)
.agents/ .claude-plugin/ Codex & Claude marketplace metadata
docs/ images & docs

Conventions

  • Reuse or modify existing code before adding files; prefer small, focused changes.
  • Self-explanatory code — no comments, no inline docs.
  • New tool → put in tools/, match nearby naming, register in main.go, add a focused test when the logic is non-trivial.
  • Tool shape: New…Tool() mcp.Tool + a handler that validates args via utils/, returns utils.ErrorResult / utils.ArtifactsResult, and logs with zerolog.
  • Skill edit → bump version in the skill's frontmatter (semver patch for fixes, minor for rule changes). Every edit to plugins/bitkub-trade/skills/**/SKILL.md must include a version bump in that same commit.

Trading safety

  • Order and wallet tools are live — validate inputs before calling Bitkub.
  • Never bypass validate_trade_setup; preserve risk controls (max risk per trade, exchange rounding, stop handling, fee-aware math). Long-only assumptions follow plugins/bitkub-trade/skills/playbook/SKILL.md.
  • Keep market-data tools usable without API keys.

Shell (rtk)

  • Prefix executables with rtk (e.g. rtk rg to search); if rtk can't run a builtin or cmdlet, use the nearest executable.
  • Stage only the files for the current change — no git add . / -A / -u unless asked.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
