Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00720 $0.00720
Opus 5 $0.00360 $0.00360
Sonnet 5 $0.00144 $0.00144
Haiku 4.5 $0.00072 $0.00072

Security

Grade A, and why

playwright-agent-mcp-starter AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

This repository is a Playwright test automation framework built with TypeScript. It provides end-to-end (E2E) and API test coverage for web applications.

Tech Stack

  • Test framework: Playwright Test (@playwright/test)
  • Language: TypeScript (strict mode)
  • Package manager: npm
  • CI: GitHub Actions (.github/workflows/playwright.yml)

Project Structure

tests/e2e/ # E2E test specs (UI and API)
pages/ # Page Object Model classes
utils/ # Shared helpers (data factory, env, timeouts)
tests/fixtures/ # Custom Playwright fixtures
ai/ # Shared AI workspace (skills, agents, prompts, knowledge)
docs/ # Project documentation

Test Conventions

Selectors (priority order)

  1. Accessibility selectorsgetByRole, getByLabel, getByText, getByPlaceholder
  2. Test IDsgetByTestId when no accessible selector is available
  3. CSS selectors — avoid; only as a last resort for third-party widgets

Never use brittle CSS selectors like .btn-primary, div > span:nth-child(2), or XPath.

Test Structure

  • Use test.describe to group related tests
  • Each test should be independent and deterministic
  • No shared mutable state between tests
  • Use fixtures for setup/teardown, not beforeAll with side effects
  • Tag tests with @smoke, @regression, or @api for filtering

Waits and Timing

  • Never use waitForTimeout or sleep
  • Use Playwright auto-waiting: waitForSelector, toBeVisible, toHaveURL, assertions
  • Use expect with built-in retry via toPass() for polling assertions
  • All tests must be CI-friendly — no reliance on local browser state

File Naming

  • Test files: *.spec.ts
  • Page objects: *.page.ts
  • Fixtures: *.fixture.ts
  • Utilities: descriptive name in utils/

Environment

  • Configuration via .env file (see .env.example)
  • Base URL set in playwright.config.ts and overridable via BASE_URL
  • Auth state cached in .auth/ to speed up test runs

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
