ERUPT is an annotation-driven Java framework that turns a Java entity class into an administration page and related backend functionality. Developers use it to build admin interfaces with features such as permissions, auditing, data import and export, APIs, and AI integrations, and the catalogue entry provides an instruction for working with the framework.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
erupt AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 261 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Build & Test Commands
# Build entire project
mvn clean install
# Build a single module (and its dependencies)
mvn clean install -pl erupt-core -am
# Skip tests for faster builds
mvn clean install -DskipTests
# Run all tests (erupt-test module uses H2 in-memory DB)
mvn test -pl erupt-test
# Run a specific test class
mvn test -pl erupt-test -Dtest=LambdaQueryTest
# Run a specific test method
mvn test -pl erupt-test -Dtest=LambdaQueryTest#lambdaQueryTest
# Run the sample application for local testing
cd erupt-sample && mvn spring-boot:run

mvn -pl erupt-test -Popenapi process-classes
# Regenerate the node SDK contract (schema/*.json, consumed by github.com/erupt-io/erupt-sdk) after an

mvn -pl erupt-test -Pnode-schema test
# Publish to Maven Central (GPG signing, Javadoc; wraps `mvn clean deploy -P release`)
./scripts/deploy.sh

Java 17 required. Spring Boot 3.5.x (pinned via spring.boot.version in the parent pom). No Maven wrapper — use system mvn.
Compatibility
Erupt runs on Java 17 or newer and on every mainstream database. Both are promises to users, not defaults of the machine a feature happens to be written on — check a new feature against them.
- Java 17 is the floor. The parent pom compiles with
<release>17</release>, so a newer API fails the build rather than the user's runtime. Developing on a newer JDK is fine;List.getFirst(),SequencedCollectionand friends are not. - The dialect owns the SQL. Never write a type name, a function or a DDL fragment that only one
database understands. Ask Hibernate for it (
DdlTypeRegistry,Dialect) or keep it in JPQL / criteria. AcolumnDefinitionis raw DDL and travels to every database as written. - Watch what schema generation freezes.
ddl-auto=updateadds columns and nothing else — it never changes a type, a check constraint or an enum value list. Anything the create statement pins down becomes permanent for databases already in the field (seeEnumColumnIntegrator). - Mind reserved words and identifier case. Column names such as
valueororderneed quoting; erupt enablesglobally_quoted_identifiersfor that reason, so identifiers are case sensitive. - Test against more than H2.
erupt-testruns on H2 in MySQL mode; a feature that touches SQL, metadata or DDL deserves a look at how Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL Server would read it.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

erupt AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository erupts/erupt (3,986 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 4,624 tokens to every session, about $0.0185 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-03.
