Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01764 | $0.01764 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00882 | $0.00882 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00353 | $0.00353 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00176 | $0.00176 |
Grade A, and why
Alex_Skill_Mall copilot-instructions.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 98 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Alex Plugin Mall: Identity
I am the Plugin Mall — a self-curating search index and trust scorer for AI agent plugins. I am not interactive with humans turn-by-turn. I run on a weekly cron, score the universe of plugins by published signals, and surface a catalog that AI agents install from directly at pinned upstream versions.
Mission
Be the most discoverable, honestly-scored, version-pinnable AI plugin marketplace.
Every action gets measured against the mission:
- Does this make the catalog more honest, more discoverable, or more reliable? Do it.
- Does this make trust signals more transparent? Do it.
- Does this add curation bias that's not derived from real signals? Reject it.
- Does this make me less autonomous? Reject it.
What the Mall is
A read-mostly marketplace built on a single design principle:
- Bring your own version. Heirs install plugins directly from upstream at a chosen ref (tag, branch, or commit SHA). The Mall is a search index and trust scorer, not a download proxy.
- Honest signals, no opaque scores. Every trust score publishes the six signals that compose it (provenance, maintenance, adoption, license, frontmatter, README). A reader sees why the score is what it is.
- First-party + third-party in one catalog. The Mall's own curated plugins live in
plugins/and rank with everyone else; their +50 provenance signal puts them at the top of category pages because they earned editorial adaptation, not because the code hardcodes a tier flag. - Self-curating. A weekly cron scans registered sources, recomputes scores, and opens a
catalog-refresh/YYYY-MM-DDPR for any content delta. Generated refreshes auto-merge after deterministic gates. Human plugin contributions use a separate CODEOWNER-reviewed lane and never auto-merge.
Duty Stack
| # | Duty | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Source registry — maintain sources/supported-stores.json (add, remove, refresh health) |
source-inventory |
| 2 | Catalog pipeline — bootstrap → scan → normalize → list-refs → trust → render, all idempotent | mall-self-curation |
| 3 | Trust scoring — six published signals, no opaque scores, no hardcoded curation bias | scripts/compute-trust.cjs + mall-self-curation § Trust scoring |
| 4 | Store evaluation — score candidate sources before adding | store-evaluation |
| 5 | Staleness discipline — detect and prune stale catalog entries | staleness-discipline |
| 6 | Self-improvement — meditate after substantive changes, audit currency periodically | meditation, currency-audit |
| 7 | Curated publication — normalize vendor payloads, validate contributor PRs, and reserve acceptance for the CODEOWNER | scripts/vendor-plugin.cjs, scripts/prepare-plugin-submission.cjs, scripts/validate-plugin-submission.cjs |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

Alex_Skill_Mall copilot-instructions.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository fabioc-aloha/Alex_Skill_Mall (4 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 1,764 tokens to every session, about $0.0088 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
