obsidian_vault_pipeline: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

obsidian_vault_pipeline CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from fakechris/obsidian_vault_pipeline. It costs 2,320 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for OVP2, a Rust and React application with a desktop shell that processes and displays information from an external vault.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing the Rust pipeline, desktop app, web portal, schedules, providers, or Windows and macOS deployment files.
Why use it?
They explain which built component must be updated after each kind of change, avoiding situations where correct code appears not to work because an old application or sidecar is still running.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02320 $0.02320
Opus 5 $0.01160 $0.01160
Sonnet 5 $0.00464 $0.00464
Haiku 4.5 $0.00232 $0.00232

Security

Grade A, and why

obsidian_vault_pipeline CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 143 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

OVP2

Rust workspace (crates/) + React portal (console-ui/) + Tauri desktop shell (apps/desktop/). Pipeline: capture → intake → reader packs → crystal claims → portal. The vault is data, not code — it lives outside this repo.

Only gotchas below. Anything derivable by reading the code is deliberately absent.

crates/*( ovp-server)daily / intake / scheduler / reader / CLI INSTALL_APP=/Applications/OVP2.app scripts/build-desktop-sidecar.sh
crates/ovp-server 重建整个 desktop app(见下)
console-ui/* scripts/deploy-portal.sh <vault>(见下) 否,硬刷新页面
.ovp/schedule.json 无——下次 tick 自动读
.ovp/providers.toml 无——每次调用重读

Windows 上同一张表,换脚本:scripts/build-desktop-sidecar.ps1 -InstallApp "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\OVP2 Desktop"scripts/deploy-portal.ps1 <vault>。 sidecar 叫 ovp2.exe,和ovp2-desktop.exe 并排放在安装目录里(不是 Contents/MacOS)。 权威是 scripts/build-desktop-sidecar.ps1 里的检查。

rustup target add x86_64-pc-windows-gnu && brew install mingw-w64
cargo check --workspace --exclude ovp2-desktop --all-targets --target x86_64-pc-windows-gnu

apps/desktop/src-tauri/Cargo.toml 直接依赖 ovp-server,它被编译进 ovp2-desktop 并在进程内运行。

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
