Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
copilot-engine CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Copilot Engine — Claude Code Context

Project Overview
Copilot Engine is a reusable, LLM-agnostic Express backend for building AI copilots. Supports Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT (including gpt-4.1-mini). Two deployment modes: Built-in (mounts on your existing server) or Standalone (runs as a separate process on port 3100). It handles:
- Agentic tool-use loop (LLM calls READ tools immediately; WRITE tools are queued for user approval)
- SSE streaming (word-by-word at ~40 words/sec)
- Auth middleware (bearer token, session cookies, or dev header)
- Pluggable project system (swap
projects/directory for a different domain)
The engine runs as a separate process alongside the frontend app (default port 3100).
Architecture
See @claude/architecture.md for the full data flow.
Key entry points:
src/index.ts— Express app, CORS, auth middleware, route mountingroutes/copilot.ts— POST /api/copilot (SSE chat)routes/execute.ts— POST /api/copilot/execute (action approval)src/engine/agentic-loop.ts— LLM-agnostic agentic loop with tool routingsrc/engine/providers/— LLM provider adapters (Anthropic, OpenAI)src/engine/sse-stream.ts— SSE helpers (streamWords, sendDone, sendError)projects/aisoar/— AISOAR platform implementation (system-prompt, tools, tool-executor)
Tech Stack
- Runtime: Node.js ≥ 18.0.0 (native fetch required)
- Language: TypeScript (strict mode)
- Framework: Express 4
- AI: LLM-agnostic — @anthropic-ai/sdk + openai SDK. Default: Anthropic
claude-sonnet-4-20250514. Host apps can implementProjectConfig.resolveLlmConfig()to source credentials from their own per-tenant store; env vars (LLM_PROVIDER/OPENAI_API_KEY/etc., see @claude/architecture.md) are a legacy fallback for projects that don't. - Streaming: Server-Sent Events (SSE)
- Auth: Bearer token / session cookies / x-copilot-auth dev header
Commands
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

copilot-engine CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository femitfash/copilot-engine (4 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,555 tokens to every session, about $0.0078 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-04.
