deepseek-and-destroy: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

deepseek-and-destroy CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from frozenpepper/deepseek-and-destroy. It costs 363 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for DSD, an adapter that lets Claude Code coordinate detached work performed by an external OpenCode or DeepSeek worker. They describe launching tasks, waiting for completion, and checking terminal evidence.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when installing the Claude Code adapter, launching or gating detached tasks, waiting for worker completion, or diagnosing a suspected stalled run.
Why use it?
They clarify which system performs the work and prevent false conclusions from host timeouts or incomplete process signals.

Instructions file for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: PostToolUse hook event. Also seen: mentions subagents; mentions Claude Code; mentions OpenCode.

This is frozenpepper/deepseek-and-destroy's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on deepseek-and-destroy itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything deepseek-and-destroy configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00363 $0.00363
Opus 5 $0.00181 $0.00181
Sonnet 5 $0.00073 $0.00073
Haiku 4.5 $0.00036 $0.00036

Measured 8d ago against content hash 60eb690692c8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

deepseek-and-destroy CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

DSD — Claude Code Parent Adapter

Cold-load only when the premium parent is Claude Code. The default technical worker remains external OpenCode/DeepSeek.

Install the project adapter once:

python3 <skill>/scripts/install_harness_adapter.py --harness claude-code --project-root <project>

Normal detached task launch uses the shared interface:

python3 <skill>/scripts/dsd_attempt.py launch ... --detach

The installed PostToolUse:Bash async-rewake helper watches the exact attempt terminal.json and wakes Claude only when the external worker is terminal. On re-wake run:

python3 <skill>/scripts/dsd_attempt.py gate --run-root <run> --phase-id <phase> --task-id <task>

If project hooks are unavailable, use:

python3 <skill>/scripts/dsd_attempt.py wait --run-root <run> --phase-id <phase> --task-id <task>

One host timeout without terminal evidence is a non-event. After repeated timeouts, a credible stall signal may justify one bounded lifecycle/transport diagnosis; log age/size and recorded process liveness are clues, not proof. Do not turn that diagnosis into model-visible polling.

The same adapter installs Claude compaction hooks. Its project-local Python files are tiny shims into the installed skill, so a normal skill upgrade does not leave stale copied control-plane code behind. Rerun the installer only if the hook/plugin definition itself changed. On a fresh session follow SKILL.md's resume fast path; load COMPACTION.md only when checkpoint state requires it. Claude-native subagent hooks are relevant only when a Claude-native worker backend is explicitly selected.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
