openwebui-extensions: Instructions file for Kiro

.kiro/steering/pr-submitter.md

pr-submitter is an instructions file for Kiro from Fu-Jie/openwebui-extensions. It costs 516 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A pull-request submission helper that checks branch and authentication state, writes a bilingual pull-request description safely, pushes the branch, and creates the pull request. A branch is a separate line of Git work, and a pull request asks the project to review and merge it.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for the final step after preparing a release or feature branch: validate the branch, create the English and Chinese description, push it, and open the pull request.
Why use it?
It avoids shell quoting problems in long pull-request descriptions and catches missing required sections before submission. It also checks that the changes are committed and the branch is suitable.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00516 $0.00516
Opus 5.5 $0.00206 $0.00206
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00103 $0.00103
Haiku 4.5 $0.00052 $0.00052

Measured 26d ago against content hash 36d1bc95a477, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

pr-submitter scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 26d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

PR Submitter

Overview

This skill handles the final step of pushing a feature branch and creating a validated Pull Request on GitHub. It avoids shell-escaping pitfalls by always writing the PR body to a temp file first.

Prerequisites

  • All changes are committed (use release-prep skill first)
  • The gh CLI is authenticated (gh auth status)
  • Current branch is NOT main or master

Workflow

Step 1 — Pre-Flight Checks

git branch --show-current
git log origin/$(git branch --show-current)..HEAD --oneline 2>/dev/null || echo "No remote tracking branch yet"
gh auth status

Step 2 — Build PR Body File

Always write to .temp/pr_body.md:

mkdir -p .temp
cat > .temp/pr_body.md << 'HEREDOC'
## Summary
...
## Changes
...
## 变更摘要(中文)
...
HEREDOC

Step 3 — Validate PR Body

grep -q "## Summary" .temp/pr_body.md && echo "✅ Summary"
grep -q "## Changes" .temp/pr_body.md && echo "✅ Changes"
grep -q "## 变更摘要" .temp/pr_body.md && echo "✅ CN Section"

Step 4 — Push Branch

git push -u origin $(git branch --show-current)

Step 5 — Create Pull Request

gh pr create \
  --base main \
  --head $(git branch --show-current) \
  --title "<PR title>" \
  --body-file .temp/pr_body.md

Always use --body-file, never --body with inline markdown.

Step 6 — Cleanup

rm -f .temp/pr_body.md

Anti-Patterns to Avoid

  • ❌ Never use --body "..." with multi-line content
  • ❌ Never force-push without explicit user confirmation
  • ❌ Never target main as the source branch
  • ❌ Never skip the body validation step
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
