fusebase-flow: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

fusebase-flow AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from fusebase-dev/fusebase-flow. It costs 1,399 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A portable startup and safety instruction file for Fusebase Flow, a workflow layer for agent-based software development. It tells agents which core rules, communication guidance, role reference, workflow, and handoff records to read.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to bootstrap sessions, establish an agent's role, load lifecycle and project context, and follow the project's safety, ownership, and Git procedures.
Why use it?
It gives different coding-agent environments a shared starting procedure and clarifies that project-specific rules and provider guidance still apply.

Instructions file for CodexOpenCode

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions subagents.

This is fusebase-dev/fusebase-flow's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on fusebase-flow itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything fusebase-flow configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01399 $0.01399
Opus 5 $0.00700 $0.00700
Sonnet 5 $0.00280 $0.00280
Haiku 4.5 $0.00140 $0.00140

Measured today against content hash 3454a9b5392e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

fusebase-flow AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — Fusebase Flow portable bootstrap

This repository uses Fusebase Flow for lifecycle discipline and Fusebase CLI provider assets for runtime/domain guidance. The recovery-owned overlay below is the portable bootstrap for every agentic surface. Canonical rules live in FLOW_RULES.md; do not duplicate them here.

FuseBase Flow — workflow lifecycle overlay

Fusebase Flow owns the development lifecycle; existing Fusebase CLI runtime, MCP, SDK, provider, and project rules remain authoritative for their domains. Project-specific rules win on conflict. Full boundary map: docs/fusebase-cli-edition.md.

Session bootstrap

  1. Read FLOW_RULES.md through ## Amendment log; it is the single resident safety/ownership core.
  2. Read flow-skills/communication/SKILL.md and flow-skills/role-discipline/SKILL.md once unless each exact body is already in context. A skill name or description does not count as its body.
  3. Self-attest one role using FLOW_RULES.md, then read flow-skills/role-discipline/references/<role>.md.
  4. Read the active workflow and ticket/handoff artifacts. If docs/north-star.md, an applicable product doc, or a business-logic index/doc exists, read it; do not create absent onboarding artifacts.
Surface Startup delivery Required action
Claude Code skill descriptions/metadata, not bodies read both mandatory bodies + role reference
Codex optional skill descriptions/metadata, not bodies read both mandatory bodies + role reference
Cursor always-on adapter text, not skill bodies read both mandatory bodies + role reference
Copilot / VS Code repository instruction adapters, not skill bodies read both mandatory bodies + role reference
Gemini-style IDEs no Flow skill bodies read both mandatory bodies + role reference
Delegated sub-agent inherits no mandatory body delegating prompt supplies required digest; sub-agent reads both bodies + role reference

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
