fusebase-flow: Instructions file for Gemini CLI

GEMINI.md

fusebase-flow GEMINI.md is an instructions file for Gemini CLI from fusebase-dev/fusebase-flow. It costs 177 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A Gemini CLI instruction file for using Fusebase Flow, a workflow system for coordinating agent work. It tells the agent which project rules, role guidance, workflows, and handoff records to read before acting.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to bootstrap a Gemini session, load the required communication and role rules, follow the active workflow and handoff, and use the project's Git-based fallback process.
Why use it?
It keeps Gemini from relying on missing or duplicated guidance and provides a fallback when the CLI does not supply built-in workflow skills or lifecycle hooks.

This is fusebase-dev/fusebase-flow's own configuration. It tells Gemini CLI how to work on fusebase-flow itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything fusebase-flow configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00177 $0.00177
Opus 5 $0.00088 $0.00088
Sonnet 5 $0.00035 $0.00035
Haiku 4.5 $0.00018 $0.00018

Security

Grade A, and why

fusebase-flow GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Gemini adapter for Fusebase Flow

Read AGENTS.md, then FLOW_RULES.md through ## Amendment log. Gemini supplies no Flow skill bodies: read flow-skills/communication/SKILL.md, flow-skills/role-discipline/SKILL.md, and flow-skills/role-discipline/references/<role>.md. Then read the active workflow and ticket/handoff. Use the attestation and state footer from FLOW_RULES.md.

Canonical lifecycle skills, workflows, policies, hooks, templates, provider/runtime precedence, active project context, and update safety are indexed from AGENTS.md. Do not duplicate them here. Gemini has no native Flow lifecycle hooks in this template; use the Git fallback hooks and the same role/approval contract. CLI provider skills remain authoritative for Fusebase Apps runtime, MCP, and SDK behavior.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
