Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00584 | $0.00584 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00292 | $0.00292 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00117 | $0.00117 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00058 | $0.00058 |
Grade A, and why
sharpsir-charts-mcp-server AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 44 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Sharp SIR Charts agent notes
sharpsir-charts-mcp-server is a public MIT-licensed MCP server for deterministic,
server-side Chart.js rendering. The shipped default design is sothebys.
Development
npm ci
npm run typecheck
npm test
npm run build
npm run gallery
Do not add data connectors to this repository. Callers provide JSON data and the renderer writes image outputs locally.
Styling belongs in assets/designs/ and the strict Zod schema. Render tools
must keep their six-part descriptions and explicit JSON-only/function
prohibitions. Do not add inline Chart.js functions to tool inputs.
Operations
Stdio is the default. HTTP uses CHARTS_API_TOKEN, binds to loopback by
default, and is intended to be placed behind Apache. Generated files are
served from /charts/o/ only when the operator configures that output path.
The repository is hosted at
https://github.com/gca-ltd/sharpsir-charts-mcp-server. Push main normally. Releases
are tracked in RELEASE_NOTES.md; use scripts/release.sh for a manual version bump,
then review, commit, tag and push the release.
Render invariants
- Resolve value/category axes through
axisRoles(indexAxis)insrc/render/axis-roles.ts. Never branch on literalscales.x/scales.yfor those semantics. - Paint subtitle, rule, footnote and watermark only inside bands from
chromeMetrics()/titleChromePositions()/footnoteBaseline(). WhenhasTitleis false, titlePaddingBottomis folded intolayoutPadding.topbecause Chart.js zeroes a hidden title box. shouldDrawDirectLabels(design, datasets, chartType)is true only forbar/line/area. When true, suppress value-axis ticks and gridlines; place labels viaresolveLabelPlacementwith contrast-aware colour.- Keep
grid.dash→border.dash(axis spine only) andlegend.marker→pointStylewired. Dashed reference lines useannotations.lines.axes.showXBorder/showYBorderAND withgrid.axisBorder. - Radial charts use per-slice colours via
resolveDatasetColors/isRadialChartType; doughnut cutout + centre/slice-label plugins are opt-in fromrender_part_to_whole. - KPI geometry comes from
computeKpiGeometry/drawKpiCellso the sparkline never intersects the hairline rule. - Render-critical schema leaves must stay live (token-coverage test); intentionally unread leaves are listed in that test's allowlist.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sharpsir-charts-mcp-server AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository gca-ltd/sharpsir-charts-mcp-server (0 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 584 tokens to every session, about $0.0029 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings.
