ticktick-mcp-cli AGENTS.md

ticktick-mcp-cli AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from GeekMai90/ticktick-mcp-cli. It costs 242 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A project instruction file for a command-line tool and MCP server that connects agents to TickTick and Dida365 task-management services. TDD means writing tests for expected behavior before or alongside the code.

In plain words
What is it for?
It guides work on the shared core code, both service profiles, JSON command output, authentication, testing, help text, and health checks.
Why use it?
It gives the agent a required workflow, protects credentials, keeps command output predictable for machines, and makes risky actions require clear confirmation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00242 $0.00242
Opus 5 $0.00121 $0.00121
Sonnet 5 $0.00048 $0.00048
Haiku 4.5 $0.00024 $0.00024

Measured 5d ago against content hash dade5914fab7, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ticktick-mcp-cli AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AGENTS.md

Project: TickTick MCP CLI

Build an open-source, agent-friendly CLI and MCP server for TickTick international and Dida365 domestic APIs.

Required workflow

  • Follow docs/plans/2026-05-17-ticktask-cli-mcp-plan.md.
  • Use TDD for core behavior and CLI behavior.
  • Keep CLI and MCP thin; put shared logic in src/ticktask/core/.
  • Never commit real credentials, access tokens, refresh tokens, or user-local config.
  • Support both service profiles:
    • ticktick: https://api.ticktick.com
    • dida365: https://api.dida365.com
  • Machine-facing commands must support stable JSON output.
  • Dangerous operations must avoid ambiguity and require explicit confirmation for non-interactive use.

Verification before completion

Run:

uv run pytest -q
uv run ticktick-mcp-cli --help
uv run ticktick-mcp-cli doctor --json
uv run ticktick-mcp-cli auth status --json

If something cannot be implemented, document the reason in the final summary and leave tests for implemented behavior passing.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
