mcp-tool-kit CLAUDE.md

mcp-tool-kit CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for coding agents from getfounded/mcp-tool-kit. It costs 154 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of repository instructions for cleaning up mcp-tool-kit, improving tool registration, adding local server-sent events, and documenting the project. Server-sent events are a way for a server to stream updates to a client.

In plain words
What is it for?
Improving tool registration, Docker startup, local SSE support, developer documentation, and Docker image download tracking.
Why use it?
It gives the coding agent a broad implementation brief for making the toolkit easier to run, maintain, and document.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00154 $0.00154
Opus 5 $0.00077 $0.00077
Sonnet 5 $0.00031 $0.00031
Haiku 4.5 $0.00015 $0.00015

Measured 3d ago against content hash 3180fc3cb1e8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mcp-tool-kit CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Your job is to first clean up this repository and make a more dynamic ragistration system for the existing tools, clean up the tool files, clean up the repo in general, implement local sse, so the server can be ran via sse transport. Try to make an easier way for people to launch the docker container, like maybe when pulling the repo it triggers docker download and git download or we add a button in our README.md, but to make it easier for non technical users to get started ASAP. THEN create a developer document site using something like docusaurus. Also please figure out how to count the number of dockerimage downloads or pulls too if we are offering an easy way for non-technical endusers to install and run an sse server locally.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
