claude-plugins AGENTS.md

Project instructions for AGENTS.md in a repository that uses Beads, an issue-tracking tool, and Git worktrees, separate working copies of a repository.

In plain words
What is it for?
Following the repository’s issue workflow, quality checks, session handoff steps, and required Git push process.
Why use it?
They define the required process for claiming and closing issues, checking changes, synchronising work, and pushing completed code.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00882 $0.00882
Opus 5 $0.00441 $0.00441
Sonnet 5 $0.00176 $0.00176
Haiku 4.5 $0.00088 $0.00088

Security

Grade A, and why

claude-plugins AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Agent Instructions

This project uses bd (beads) for issue tracking. Run bd onboard to get started.

Quick Reference

bd ready # Find available work
bd show <id> # View issue details
bd update <id> --status in_progress # Claim work
bd close <id> # Complete work
bd sync # Sync with git

Landing the Plane (Session Completion)

When ending a work session, you MUST complete ALL steps below. Work is NOT complete until git push succeeds.

MANDATORY WORKFLOW:

  1. File issues for remaining work - Create issues for anything that needs follow-up
  2. Run quality gates (if code changed) - Tests, linters, builds
  3. Update issue status - Close finished work, update in-progress items
  4. PUSH TO REMOTE - This is MANDATORY:
    git pull --rebase
    bd sync
    git push
git status # MUST show "up to date with origin"

  5. Clean up - Clear stashes, prune remote branches
  6. Verify - All changes committed AND pushed
  7. Hand off - Provide context for next session

CRITICAL RULES:

  • Work is NOT complete until git push succeeds
  • NEVER stop before pushing - that leaves work stranded locally
  • NEVER say "ready to push when you are" - YOU must push
  • If push fails, resolve and retry until it succeeds
  • If you add plugins back to this repo, bump the version in .claude-plugin/marketplace.json on every commit that changes plugin files.

Worktree Convention

When the coordinator dispatches you with REPO_ROOT and EPIC_BRANCH:

  1. cd $REPO_ROOT
  2. git worktree add .worktrees/${EPIC_BRANCH}--<your-task-slug> -b ${EPIC_BRANCH}--<your-task-slug>
  3. cd .worktrees/${EPIC_BRANCH}--<your-task-slug>
  4. Do all work in this worktree
  5. Commit and push your branch when done

Beads Issue Tracker

This project uses bd (beads) for issue tracking. Run bd prime to see full workflow context and commands.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
