RockDLL AGENTS.md

Repository instructions for RockDLL, a Windows command-line tool that injects ReShade graphics DLLs into the Roco Kingdom game. They describe the project, build setup, tests, and C++ style rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing RockDLL code, configuring a CMake build with Ninja or MinGW Makefiles, running tests, checking lint, or following the project's C++17 and Windows coding rules.
Why use it?
They give an agent the project context and exact commands needed to build and test the tool, reducing guesswork about Windows, CMake, and the game's constraints.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.01116 $0.01116
Opus 5 $0.00558 $0.00558
Sonnet 5 $0.00223 $0.00223
Haiku 4.5 $0.00112 $0.00112

Security

Grade A, and why

RockDLL AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md - RockDLL Project

Project Overview

This project develops a command-line tool to inject ReShade DLLs into Roco Kingdom (洛克王国) game.

  • Game Path: C:\Games\WeGameApps\rail_apps\RocoKingdom(2002304)
  • Target EXE: Win64\NRC\Binaries\Win64\NRC-Win64-Shipping.exe
  • Graphics: DX11/DX12
  • Anti-Cheat: ACE (lenient version)
  • Constraint: Modified DLLs CANNOT be placed in game directory

Build Commands

CMake with Ninja (Recommended)

mkdir build && cd build
cmake .. -G "Ninja" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
ninja

CMake with MinGW Makefiles

mkdir build && cd build
cmake .. -G "MinGW Makefiles" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build . --config Release

Single Test

cd build
ctest -R <test_name> --output-on-failure
# Or run directly:
./injector_tests.exe

Lint (if available)

cmake --build build --target lint

Code Style Guidelines

General

  • C++17 standard minimum
  • Windows-specific code should use #ifdef _WIN32 guards
  • 4-space indentation, no tabs
  • LF line endings (.gitattributes enforces this)

Naming Conventions

Element Style Example
Classes PascalCase DllInjector
Structs PascalCase ProcessInfo
Functions PascalCase InjectDll
Variables camelCase targetPid
Constants kebab-case MAX_PATH_LENGTH
Private members m_ prefix m_hProcess
Enums PascalCase InjectionMethod
Enum values PascalCase InjectionMethod::Manual

Headers & Imports

// Order: associated header, C standard, C++ standard, third-party, project
#include "dll_injector.h"
#include <windows.h>
#include <string>
#include <vector>
#include <tlhelp32.h>

Error Handling

  • Use std::optional<T> for nullable returns
  • Throw std::runtime_error for critical failures
  • Log errors with severity levels: ERROR, WARN, INFO, DEBUG
  • Always check Win32 API return values

Types

  • Use DWORD, HANDLE, LPVOID for Windows types
  • Use uint32_t, int64_t for portable integers
  • Prefer std::string over char*
  • Use std::vector<uint8_t> for binary data

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

RockDLL AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository Goldppx/RockDLL (24 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 1,116 tokens to every session, about $0.0056 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
