goldsky-agent AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from goldsky-io/goldsky-agent. It costs 1,553 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for the goldsky-agent project. They explain how its skills should be used, how requests are routed, and which common mistakes to avoid when editing the project.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when generating code or editing skills in the goldsky-agent repository.
Why use it?
They give coding agents the project-specific context needed to make changes consistently and avoid known errors.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01553 $0.01553
Opus 5.5 $0.00621 $0.00621
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00311 $0.00311
Haiku 4.5 $0.00155 $0.00155

Security

Grade A, and why

goldsky-agent AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — Goldsky Agent

Guide for AI coding agents (Devin, Codex, Cursor, Amp, Claude Code, and anything else that reads AGENTS.md). This repo is a skill pack for building, deploying, and debugging on Goldsky — Turbo pipelines, Mirror pipelines, Subgraphs, Edge RPC, and Feeds. Each skill is a self-contained folder of step-by-step instructions plus reference material. Compose skills, which send onchain transactions, live in goldsky-io/goldsky-compose-agent.

How to use these skills

Some hosts (Claude Code, Cursor) auto-discover skills and trigger them from each skill's description. If your runtime has no "skills" feature, use them manually — they are just Markdown:

  1. Identify the task (build a pipeline, fix a broken one, write a transform, deploy/repair a subgraph…).
  2. Open the matching skills/<name>/SKILL.md (routing table below; full index in SKILLS.md).
  3. Follow it. A SKILL.md points into deeper files under skills/<name>/references/ and skills/<name>/templates/ — read those when it tells you to.
  4. For reference lookups (CLI flags, YAML fields, dataset names, error codes), query the Goldsky docs MCP at https://docs.goldsky.com/mcp rather than guessing. Every published doc is also in https://docs.goldsky.com/llms.txt.

Each SKILL.md opens with a description: in its frontmatter stating what it covers and when to use it — scan those to route.

Skill routing

If the task is… Use skill
Build/deploy a new Turbo pipeline (chain → dataset → transforms → sink) turbo-builder
A Turbo pipeline is broken / not getting data / output looks wrong turbo-doctor
Turbo YAML syntax, sources/sinks, architecture & sizing decisions turbo-pipelines
Write a SQL / TypeScript / dynamic-table transform (incl. EVM & Solana decoding) turbo-transforms
Pause / restart / delete a pipeline; interpret a pipeline error turbo-operations
Sync a subgraph entity source to a DB; Mirror vs Turbo mirror
A Mirror pipeline is failing / stuck / terminated mirror-doctor
Author / build / deploy a subgraph; schema, mappings, manifest subgraph-builder
A subgraph stopped syncing / won't deploy / errors subgraph-doctor
Migrate a subgraph off The Graph subgraph-migrate
Get a fast, reliable managed RPC endpoint; RPC error codes edge
Cut the bill from an RPC provider you already pay for; cache hit rates, x-cache boost
Look up one wallet's balances or transfers, token metadata and USD prices, a wallet's Polymarket activity or positions, or a block by number, hash or timestamp, over the Feeds REST API (formerly Edge Data / Data APIs) feeds
Find the right dataset name / chain prefix datasets
Store credentials for a sink (Postgres, ClickHouse, Kafka…) secrets
Install the CLI / log in / switch projects / fix unauthorized auth-setup

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
