Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00661 | $0.00661 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00331 | $0.00331 |

Grade A, and why
aws-serverless-mcp-server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 65 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Commands
CDK (infrastructure)
npm run cdk synth # synthesise CloudFormation template
npm run cdk deploy # deploy stack to AWS
npm run cdk diff # diff against deployed stack
npm run build # compile CDK TypeScript → dist/
npm run lint # ESLint on bin/ and lib/
npm run lint:fix # auto-fix lint issues
npm run format # Prettier on bin/ and lib/
npm run format:check # check formatting without writing
npm test # run Jest tests
MCP server app (app/)
cd app && npm run build # compile app TypeScript → app/dist/
cd app && npm start # run server locally on port 8080
CDK does not require a pre-build step — it uses ts-node directly via cdk.json.
Architecture
This is an AWS CDK v2 monorepo that deploys an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to AWS Lambda.
bin/app.ts CDK entry point — instantiates McpServerStack
lib/mcp-stack.ts Single CDK stack: API Gateway → two Lambdas + Secrets Manager
lib/authorizer/ Lambda authorizer source (TypeScript, bundled by CDK with esbuild)
app/ MCP server Docker image (separate npm package)
src/server.ts Node.js HTTP server — the actual MCP implementation
Dockerfile Multi-stage build: node:22-slim → Lambda Web Adapter runtime
Request flow
Client → API Gateway HTTP API v2
→ HttpLambdaAuthorizer (lib/authorizer/index.ts)
checks x-api-key header against secret in Secrets Manager
→ MCP Server Lambda (Docker image, app/src/server.ts)
/health — readiness check for Lambda Web Adapter
/mcp — stateless MCP over StreamableHTTP (POST only in prod)
Two Lambda deployment models
- MCP server: Docker image Lambda (
lambda.DockerImageFunction). Built fromapp/Dockerfileusing the AWS Lambda Web Adapter to bridge Lambda events to a plain Node.js HTTP server. - Authorizer:
NodejsFunction(esbuild bundling atcdk deploytime fromlib/authorizer/index.ts). No pre-compilation needed.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

aws-serverless-mcp-server CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository goodandco/aws-serverless-mcp-server (1 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 661 tokens to every session, about $0.0033 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
