Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.05347 | $0.05347 |
| Opus 5 | $0.02674 | $0.02674 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.01069 | $0.01069 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00535 | $0.00535 |
Grade A, and why
algorand-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 365 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Algorand MCP — Agent Guide
This document describes how AI agents should interact with the Algorand blockchain through the Algorand MCP server. It covers tool usage patterns, transaction workflows, safety rules, and common pitfalls.
Overview
Algorand MCP is a local MCP server that runs on the user's machine. It provides 126 tools across 15 categories for full Algorand blockchain access. Mnemonics are stored in a local SQLite agent-wallet DB (~/.algorand-mcp/wallet.db, mode 0600) — they never appear in tool responses, logs, or MCP messages. The MCP server holds the keys and signs on the agent's behalf.
Key difference from remote MCP servers: This server runs locally, signing happens on the user's machine using mnemonics held in the agent-wallet DB, and the agent provides the network parameter (mainnet, testnet, or localnet) on each tool call.
Calling MCP Tools
MCP tools are deferred — you MUST use ToolSearch to load them before calling:
ToolSearch("+algorand wallet") # Search by keyword — loads matching tools
ToolSearch("select:mcp__algorand-mcp__wallet_get_info") # Load a specific tool by full name
Once loaded, call them normally:
mcp__algorand-mcp__wallet_get_info { "network": "testnet" }
Full tool name pattern: mcp__algorand-mcp__<tool_name>. If you get "tool not found", use ToolSearch("+algorand <keyword>") to load it first.
Session Start
At the beginning of every Algorand session:
- Load tools — Call
ToolSearch("+algorand wallet")to load wallet tools - Check wallet — Call
wallet_get_infowith the target network to verify a wallet account exists and is active. - If no accounts — Guide the user to create one with
wallet_add_account(sets the nickname). - If account needs funding — Generate an ARC-26 QR code with
generate_algorand_qrcode(returns{ qr, uri, link, expires_in }— display theqrtext and shareablelink) or direct the user to the testnet faucet: https://lora.algokit.io/testnet/fund - If account needs USDC funding — Direct to testnet USDC faucet: https://faucet.circle.com/
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

algorand-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository GoPlausible/algorand-mcp (44 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 5,347 tokens to every session, about $0.0267 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
