Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01579 $0.01579
Opus 5 $0.00790 $0.00790
Sonnet 5 $0.00316 $0.00316
Haiku 4.5 $0.00158 $0.00158

Measured 9d ago against content hash 07c33d545c12, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ohmyzsh-ai-cli-plugins CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

This repository contains a collection of Oh My Zsh plugins that provide intelligent auto-completion for AI CLI tools:

  • claude - Anthropic Claude Code CLI completion
  • codex - OpenAI Codex CLI completion
  • gemini - Google Gemini CLI completion

Each plugin is self-contained in its own directory with a single .plugin.zsh file.

Language Guidelines

IMPORTANT: All written content in this repository must be in English, including:

  • Code comments
  • Documentation files (README, CLAUDE.md, etc.)
  • Commit messages
  • Pull request descriptions
  • Issue reports
  • Code variable names and function names

EXCEPTION: When communicating with the repository owner in conversation/chat, use Chinese (中文).

This ensures the codebase remains accessible to the international open-source community while maintaining effective communication with the primary maintainer.

Core Architecture

Plugin Structure Pattern

All plugins follow a consistent Zsh completion architecture:

  1. Main completion function (_<tool_name>) - Entry point that handles:

    • Global options via _arguments
    • Top-level command dispatching via state machine
    • Delegates to subcommand-specific completion functions
  2. Subcommand completion functions (_<tool_name>_<subcommand>) - Nested handlers for:

    • Multi-level command hierarchies (e.g., claude mcp add, gemini extensions install)
    • Context-aware parameter completion
    • Dynamic completion (e.g., listing configured MCP servers)
  3. Registration and aliases - At file end:

    • compdef directives to register completion functions
    • Command aliases for convenience

Key Patterns

State machine pattern for command routing:

_arguments -C \
    '1: :->command' \
    '*::arg:->args'

case $state in
    command)
        _describe -t commands 'commands' commands
        ;;
    args)
        case $line[1] in
            subcommand)
                _tool_subcommand
                ;;
        esac
        ;;
esac

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
