superpipelines: Instructions file for Claude Code

AGENTS.md

superpipelines AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode from gustavo-meilus/superpipelines. It costs 2,222 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for Superpipelines, a framework for designing and running named workflows made of steps, branches, loops, and human approval points.

In plain words
What is it for?
Onboard an agent, explain how to build, test, run, audit, and modify Superpipelines workflows.
Why use it?
They give an agent the project’s purpose, technology requirements, commands, and layout so it can work in the repository consistently.

Written for Claude Code and Codex and OpenCode: Claude Code plugin machinery, but also the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions subagents; mentions Claude Code.

This is gustavo-meilus/superpipelines's own configuration. It tells Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode how to work on superpipelines itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything superpipelines configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02222 $0.02222
Opus 5 $0.01111 $0.01111
Sonnet 5 $0.00444 $0.00444
Haiku 4.5 $0.00222 $0.00222

Measured 7d ago against content hash 7d43d22652ec, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

superpipelines AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Superpipelines Agent Onboarding

Project Purpose

superpipelines is a multi-agent pipeline orchestration framework distributed as a cross-platform AI tooling plugin. It helps users design, scaffold, audit, mutate, optimize, and run named workflows made of specs, plans, tasks, parallel branches, iterative loops, and human gates.

The core product promise is repeatable AI process: define a workflow once, let tier-aware agents or inline protocols execute it, preserve reviewer isolation where the host supports it, and keep generated pipelines portable across supported tools.

Primary user commands are /superpipelines:new-pipeline, /superpipelines:run-pipeline, /superpipelines:audit-steps, /superpipelines:new-step, /superpipelines:update-step, /superpipelines:delete-step, /superpipelines:change-models, /superpipelines:init-deep, and direct /superpipelines:{P} launchers.

Stack and Runtime

This repo is mostly declarative plugin source: Markdown skills, agent frontmatter, JSON manifests, shell hooks, and Node.js guard scripts. There is no compile step and no app server.

Runtime requirements: Node >=18 for bin/install.js and repository checks. The package is ESM via "type": "module" in package.json.

Supported host tiers are Tier 1 Claude Code, Tier 1b OpenCode, Tier 1c Antigravity CLI 2.0 best-effort, Tier 1d Codex App/CLI, and Tier 2 Cursor/Windsurf/Cline. Gemini CLI is retired as of 2026-06-18.

Windows development is common. Use PowerShell-compatible commands when practical. Do not write JSON with Set-Content -Encoding UTF8 in ways that introduce a UTF-8 BOM; Claude Code JSON parsing can fail on BOM-prefixed files.

Build, Test, Run

Install locally or globally through the universal installer:

npx -y superpipelines-install
.\install.ps1

POSIX install path:

./install.sh

Repository checks:

npm run check:versions
npm run check:profiles
npm run check:authoring
npm run check:parity
npm run report:preload
npm run check:install-docs
npm run check:codex-plugin
npm run check:all

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
