liteagents: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

liteagents CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from hamr0/liteagents. It costs 604 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Project instructions for LiteAgents, an AI development toolkit with specialised agents and commands for several coding tools. They emphasise simple, readable code and narrowly scoped changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when developing LiteAgents, choosing an implementation approach, adding agents or commands, or checking whether a proposed change is too complex.
Why use it?
They help contributors avoid speculative abstractions, unnecessary dependencies, and unrelated edits.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00604 $0.00604
Opus 5.5 $0.00242 $0.00242
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00121 $0.00121
Haiku 4.5 $0.00060 $0.00060

Security

Grade A, and why

liteagents CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 26d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

liteagents

AI development toolkit with 10 specialized agents and 12 commands and skills per tool. Supports Claude, Opencode, Ampcode, and Droid.

Documentation

See README.md for usage and docs/product/INSTALLER_GUIDE.md for installation details.

Editing a command, skill or subagent? Read docs/product/INSTALLER_GUIDE.md (its Changing a command, skill or subagent section) first. Short version: edit packages/claude only, then node scripts/mirror.cjs sync && node scripts/mirror.cjs check. Never hand-edit a droid/ampcode/opencode file.

Dev Rules (mandatory — full source: .claude/remember/AGENT_RULES.md)

Simple > clever. Readable code a junior can follow beats elegant code that needs a PhD to debug. Be the Simplicity Advocate: call out overcomplications and suggest simpler alternatives BEFORE building, not after.

Every line must have a purpose. No speculative code, no "might need this later", no abstractions for one use case. If you split one file into N similar files, stop and check whether N=1 with a few extra lines is clearer.

Surgical changes only. Touch what the task requires; nothing else. Don't "improve" adjacent code, comments, or formatting. Match existing style.

Dependency hierarchy — exhaust simpler first: vanilla language → standard library → external (only when stdlib can't do it in <100 lines). External deps must be maintained, lightweight, widely adopted. Exception: always use vetted libraries for security-critical code.

Lightweight over complex. Vanilla over frameworks. Express over NestJS, Flask over Django, plain JS over React if the project doesn't genuinely need it. Open-source only, no vendor lock-in.

Responsive web UI is mandatory. User builds web apps consumed on phones — fluid layouts, viewport meta, no horizontal scroll. Test in DevTools device emulation before claiming a UI task is done.

POC first. Validate logic with ~15min proof-of-concept before designing properly. Never ship the POC — rewrite it.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
