Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00968 | $0.00968 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00484 | $0.00484 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00194 | $0.00194 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00097 | $0.00097 |
Grade A, and why
hatago-mcp-hub GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 109 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
This repository contains the source code for Hatago MCP Hub, a lightweight, multi-runtime hub server for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It allows developers to connect multiple MCP servers (local, remote, or even dynamically loaded via NPX) and expose them as a single, unified endpoint for AI development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code.
The project is a TypeScript monorepo managed with pnpm. It is designed to be modular and extensible, with a core hub and separate packages for the CLI, server, runtime components, and transport protocols. The server is built using the Hono web framework, and it uses Zod for robust configuration and data validation. The main package is published as @himorishige/hatago-mcp-hub.
Key features include:
- Multi-transport support: STDIO, HTTP, and SSE.
- Dynamic server management: Add, remove, and manage MCP servers on the fly.
- Hot-reloading: Automatically reloads the configuration when the
hatago.config.jsonfile changes. - Progress notifications: Real-time progress updates for long-running operations.
- Multi-runtime support: Designed to run on Node.js and Cloudflare Workers.
- Minimal internal resource: Provides
hatago://serversto inspect connected servers.
Building and Running
Prerequisites
- Node.js (version 20 or higher)
- pnpm
Installation
-
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/himorishige/hatago-hub.git cd hatago-hub -
Install dependencies:
pnpm install
Building the Project
To build all the packages in the monorepo, run the following command from the root directory:
pnpm -r build
Running the Hub Server
The easiest way to run the Hatago Hub server is to use the main package via npx.
# Serve with default configuration
npx @himorishige/hatago-mcp-hub serve
# Specify a configuration file
npx @himorishige/hatago-mcp-hub serve --config hatago.config.json
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

hatago-mcp-hub GEMINI.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository himorishige/hatago-mcp-hub (27 stars, last pushed 12mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 968 tokens to every session, about $0.0048 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
